if it cannot feed itself, take warm catfood and mix a little water and feed with a straw. you can feed it milk also with a straw.

if it can feed itself, make sure it has water; is kept warm; and has easy food to eat like bread.

rat or mouse survival is 99% unless it is really sick.

do not give it anything carbonated as they cannot burp or throw-up which is why poison kills them.

well, assuming it has been reared from the mother, make sure it stays warm and out of drafts. Keep something for them to chew on (like a little wooden block) or they can use rat pellets for food.
And of course, make sure they have a source of water. (preferably a hanging water bottle, and not a bowl of water, they could drown in them)
Keep the cage covered. Just because they are small, doesnt mean they cant escape their cage!

OH Yuk! Dont do that to yourself. !!! Mice and rats have too much bacteria, viruses & parasites to be near humans.
If you have handled them, do yourself a big favour and take a course of OLIVE LEAF extract or VITA KLENZ for 3-4 weeks. This also applies to all animals but rats n mice are some of the worst!

Maybe a pet bottle from a feed or pet store with some replacement milk formula or water. I really dunno. Just a guess.
