I want my show jumper to go the bit. I heard it will help me a lot at shows!! PLEASE HELP!!

a horse to be on the bit has to be flexed at the poll, pushing from behind up thru and into the bridle. if you don't know what this means nor how to do it and you are jumping your horse, you are doing alot of things incorrectly. time to enlist a trainer to teach and show you these things. you should of already known how to do this on the flat before jumping. as you can put yourself in bad spots for the jumps and also make your horse sore if he isn't bridled correctly. good luck and hope this helps

I am assuming you mean like in dressage. I really can't give this kind of addvice over the internet because I don't know you, your horse and each others quirks. Get some dressage lessons and that will help tremendously. Showjumpers do need that!

Its something you have to feel. You kinda have to work your way up. Ask your trainer! And yes it is very helpful at shows!

i'm not sure exactly what you mean by "go on the bit..." in what ways would it help you? add some details...i think i can help.
