I get their newsletters every week. Of course using a hot babe like David Boreanaz to do publicity for them turns me on. Seriously though, I spay or neuter my animals, bring them to the vet when shots are due or when they get sick. Feed them the right food, Give them lots of love. I even bought them a cat condo. What is so wrong with that????????? Why is caring for animals so wrong for some people on here. You whine enough about children who will end up being Ted Bundy's by the time they turn 18. The decline in morallity in humans tends to show they will raise hateful children. I know the kids in my neighborhood are vandels who broke my husband's jet ski and broke our window with a block of ice. Also the people who live behind us have five kids, start a fire in their yard drinking till all hours and their kids are right there watching them. Yeah good role models.

Today, I set my hand in front of her and she crawled up and then her fangs started to seperate (Idk how to word it, but she did the same thing right before she brought her fangs out at my brother for taking her dish out to put more water in because he bumped into her and it scared her a litle bit). Should I put her back or let her crawl the rest of the way into my hand?

As puppies or kittens we've all witnessed them playing with their own image but as they grow older the loose interest with their image. I'm pretty sure cats are self-aware because of their 'the universe only exist b/c of me' attitude. What's your opinion?

I saw a Spider that looks like a small Black Widow, but where the red hourglass on its butt is, was a yellow one. Does anyone have any info on this?

If you know anything about ants, you know that the breeder ants grow wings and fly away to start new ant piles.

I have one by my house, and i dug into it, but i cant figure out which are the worker and which are the breeder ants. They dont have wings at the moment.

Does anyone know a good site that shows the difference?

Thanks.

I'm just interested in personal experiences and not just the run of the mill advice given by breeders on the net to sell their critters :).

My mom and i have been living with her boyfriend for 2 years. In the past he has hit me my mom and my animals. He takes out his anger with us on them most of the time. Last night my mom called me at about 2 am and told me that her faveorite dog was dead. Then she said Art killed him. The dog has no plainly visible marks but he has long hair and i couldnt move his body or look around too much so im not sure he could be shot with a bb. My mom called the cops last night when she got home and saw her dog dead. She told them Art killed the dog. The police did not investigate the dog- did not touch him all they did was glance at him from across the room. The police questioned my mom and Art and that was that they left and did nothing about it. My mom also told the cops about another murder that happened earlier that week. My cat had to be put to sleep because she had a fractured jaw bone to bad to be fixed and a broken cheek bone. Again there is no proof really except Arts past... (con't..)

My son is sad because we have to get rid of his kitten due to allergies and I need to get him something else to help him get over her. He wants something that's playful and I want something that can be potty trained easily or that lives in a cage. No ferrets, I hear they smell bad and no reptiles or rodents (rodents draw snakes and I'm horrified of snakes. Can you recommend something that doesn't cost a fortune but is playful and affectionate?
