or if you know of a place that sells horses near Redding Ca. that would be good too. The breed i`m looking for the most are Morgans and Mustangs.

I reccomend finding auction houses and going to a horse auction. Kill buyers go to these sales, and if there aren't nice people who want to give horses homes for cheap, the kill buyers get them and ship them to slaughter, where they are then sold for HUMAN CONSUMPTION over seas. I just got a horse thru a rescue that found her in a feed lot, ready to ship to slaughter.

There's the risk that you dont get to vet check, but the horses there are CHEAP-- often under $500. I've seen some nice young ones for under $100!

Check it out, and bring a knowledgable horse person with you to spot lamenesses and such.

You could try stuff like barnworld.com, but last I've heard, they weren't selling horses... Search on Yahoo, "horses for sale?". You should come up with SOMETHING... The best advice for you that I have is looking on the Yahoo search bar.. :(

Call your local animal shelters and they might be able to direct you to a horse rescue where you can adopt one. I know there are many of those here in Arizona.
