If you know anything about ants, you know that the breeder ants grow wings and fly away to start new ant piles.

I have one by my house, and i dug into it, but i cant figure out which are the worker and which are the breeder ants. They dont have wings at the moment.

Does anyone know a good site that shows the difference?

Thanks.

The queen ants are much bigger than the workers (the size difference will vary depending on the species). Also, they have a "muscular" appearance because the thorax still has the flight muscles, even though the wings have been shed.

You really need a queen. I thought you bought these mail order after you got your ant farm.
