I have two ferrets that I have owned for awhile. I've owned ferrets for a few years now.
However, I got two ferrets last week. They are considerably larger than my first two, and very young, appx three months old.
I am wondering if it is a symptom of a problem when I pick them up and they are sleeping, they act exactly as if they are dead.
I've delivered my share of puppies, and have had to revive some, I used these methods on these little fellas, and they very slowly responded.
Then it took a couple of minutes for them to really act awake.
Its quite warm here, in the 90's, and I keep a fan on their home, its a large three story enclosure, but I'm wondering if it may be the heat that causes them to act like that. My first two ferrets never do that, but they are smaller and older too.
Its pretty scary when it happens and I am wondering if anyone has ever experienced this.

Is it true that the hermit crabs must be completely underwater? Wouldn't that drown them? And how much water should I use?

I was thinking about getting a rabbit and I did a lot of research. But in every guide I read, it said that I should get it neutered or spayed at the vet. My mom will never agree with the expenses. So I was wondering what would happen if I don't get my rabbit neutered or spayed.

My nephew bought a pinky mouse to feed to his garden snake, but then couldn't feed it to the snake. How can I raise it? I've been feeding it as often as I can for the past 2 days with soy milk, regular milk and baby kitten milk using a very small seringe. It's in a small cage with a light on it.

Bedding is way too expensive and I have to buy a pack per change. Do you think it's possible to use newspaper instead? Will there be any harm to my rabbit?

Well, should I? I want to do it as my birthday present to myself. I would adopt a sea lion. This is the website about it:
http://www.memphiszoo.org/default.aspx?pid=32
I would do the protector. Do you think it is a waste of money? Could I ask for maybe ten dollars from all my family to help pay for it? What do you think my parents would say? Oh, please tell me what you think!!! Thanks.
