Or something, maybe some suggestions...she had a reaction to a vaccine she had today and now her face is all swolen. It's a rare but more serious effect. We can't take her to the vet because it's nighttime and it's closed. We called the vet and we bought her the medicine he told us to give her, but she still has the whole night ahead of her. She may get better, or worse, and we would have to drive her to an emergency animal hospital far from here. Do you think she will be okay? Has your pet ever had a reaction to a vaccine before?

Why do people protest about neutering cats and dogs?

Hi there.
My dog was neutered about 6 weeks ago and the vet told me he gave him disintegrating stitches so they won't have to be removed; however, tonight i noticed my dog has been nibbling down there and when I looked, I saw some stitches sticking out. Is this uncommon to take this long?

I have two beagles. One is about 3 yrs old (male) and the other is almost one year old (female). We crate train both of them. The older beagle notifies us when he wants to go out by scratching on the door. The one year old doesn't seem to know how to let us know. We take her out every few hours and she still will pee in the house. Any intelligent and serious suggestions are welcomed! Thanks!

I have 9 pups that are 18 days old and I am assuming they are beginning to teeth, because they are gumming each other and us. Will be going to petco tomorrow and was just wondering if any breeders had any suggestions on what would be by your experience the best chew toys? Thanks...

He is 13 months old, and really hyper. I live in the surburbs on Northern Minnisota, right near the border of Canada. I take him out and let him run in the woods, but I think he'd like some one to run with or another dog to spend time with. Maybe a little female St. Bernard? (both would be spayed or neutered)

I have two very spoilt labradors, who's diet constists of fresh lamb and rice, beef and vegetables, chicken and pasta, fresh bones and meals that aren't from tins or packets. They have been eating this diet since they were puppies (now 4 years old).
I play with and swim with them often and give them lots of attention.
My problem is with my work I have to leave home sometimes for days at a time. And leave them with a very reliable babysitter. When this happens the female dog moaps around, sleeps a lot and gets a bout of diarrhea and vomiting. Each time she was taken to our local vet, and at first he thought it was a virus, but after trying many different types of antibiotics, the real diagnosis was depression from when I go away. Has anyone else had the same problem with there dog or am I just spoiling them too much?

Just as a figure of speech. I've had 3 Saint Bernards in my life before Bruno, and he is about 13 months old. He is just so bad for a St. Bernard. He hates water like for a bath, and is really hyper. I know he is a pup, but he isn't relaxed ever, which as a lazy breed he should be at home. Plus, he hates the cold, like going into the snow which is very odd for a St. Bernard. I know i have a pure bred because i've met the parents and I have papers. I bought my other dogs from him also. So what is wrong with him?

My dog has a tendency to pee on himself. Not all the time, but enough to ask this question. He's a 2 yr old short legged beagle and his urine smells HORRIBLE. He hasn't been neutered yet..... but I usually have to scrub him 3 or 4 times really good to get the most the way gone. Anybody know of anything I can use to get it out quicker? I know the carpet/floor cleaners out there, but I don't think it's safe to use those on my dog.... any suggestions? Thanks!

my pups are 3 days old and and before they were even 24 hours old the mother bit them and i had to take them to the vet to get stitched up.
one of the pups bite wound was on the chest area and the vet said they were worried because they didn't know how deep it was (it looks pretty deep)so she didn't stitch it up because of that. now that wound looks gross like a greenish brown color and it stinks real bad, what can i do for it i don't want the puppy to die.
