see i have a collie for just about a year now. She's about 4 years old. The story on my dog was pretty sad. See my mom's friend kept here outside in the rain, snow and hot sun with no shelter. the poor dog would be outside for 2-3 days with no food because she would work all day. So when my mom asked me if i wanted the collie and i said yes without thinking it twice. when i got the dog it was very very skinny. so i spoild her alot and feed her alot now she got little too big now. I walk her and not feed her to much now. But what else can i do i also change her food to diet food.

I have just inherited a King Charles Spaniel. His mother cost $3200.00. "Charlie" will be 2 years old in November. It is quite obvious that he is ready for stud service. How do I go about it, and how much should I charge?

No matter how many times I take him out or we go for walks, no matter how many times he DOES make a successful trip outside, no matter how many times I praise my little guy, he inevitably finds a corner or empty bathroom to leave me a "package". Any suggestions, helpful hints or advise? I am a first time dog owner and have read everything I could find about the subject...nothing seems to be working. Will he out grow it or am I out of luck?

I have a dog that I really love but he wrecks everything! He ripped up almost everything in my backyard, he managed to get out of his cage in the house and my basement and ripped up everything! My dad owns a bakery and he has to work very hard every day and whenever he comes home, and he sees the mess, he has to clean it up.. my dad says that he's going to give my dog away.. but the only reason why he chews up everything is probably because he needs more attention.. i play with him everyday but it's hard to cuz my parents said not to let him out in the basement, house or backyard.. so i have no way of playing with him or anything.. what should i do?

She has nursed them all for an hour for two periods of time. She now refuses to lay down with the puppies and when they get latched on, she will stand up and walk away. I just attempted feeding all four of them pet formula and they did ok. how ofted and how much can I expect them to drink at a time. They were born this morning between 1am and 330 am they weigh 7.5 and the one I'm worried about, the runt soto speak is 5 oz

I have a 9 yr old cocker spaniel and a 1 yr old female cocker the female is in her second heat and i havn't had her dressed as i am going to breed her when she is 2 1/2 the problem is my older dog keeps mounting her and, well you no. There is no chance of pregnancy after castration so why i thought it was meant to stop this behaviour. Before anyone has a go at me we will not breed her until her breader thinks we should and the vet agrees if its not to be then so be it but we will be responsible.
