go to petfinders.com....this is a site for rescue groups....just enter your Zip code, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!.... i adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!....check it out....try it....do a good deed....adopt a dog !!....good luck to you, in your search for a free dog in the Fresno area !!!!

I am in Fresno California, not sure if that is the one you are in. Free,,, not sure. But the shelter has a ton that need homes. also check out the no kill shelters, when you get one from them it opens a space for another one to get taken in and not killed.Good Luck.

You should check out your local shelters. They will only want a donaqtion. I don't want to offend you, but, if you can't afford to pay for a dog, you may want to think of a cheaper pet. There are a lot of expenses associated with a dog.
