Once labor begins the dog will want a warm, dry and soft place to give birth. She's probably arranged one already. Try and make sure you have an old towel, sheet or blanket under her as the afterbirth and blood can stain. The first stage of labor will take up to 24 hours. If you have no puppy after 24 hours call the vet for an immediate appointment. Fortunately she's a large dog, so she has less statistacal chance of requireing a C-Section.
Each puppy will come in it's own sack. Mom should remove this sack immediately. If she doesn't or can't you have to help her. The baby can't breathe in there. If there is no sack on the puppy, watch the later deliveries and afterbirth carefully for that sack. It ALL has to come out. The sack has a rubbery, slimy, leathery feel and although you can see through it, it can be harder to split that you think. Keep a pair of scissors nearby in case you NEED them, but don't interfere if Mom's doing ok on her own. Be forwarned she will eat the afterbirth. This won't kill her as it is what wild dogs do. It is gross though and you can feel free to take it from her.
The puppies will NOT come all at once. Generally they tend to be about 1/2 hour to 2 hours apart. If there is no second (or 3rd,4rth etc) puppy after 2 hours and she is still showing straining, call the vet. After all the puppies come there will be one last shot of afterbirth and she should clean them up. The puppies should start wanting to nurse within minutes of birth.
For the first few weeks you won't find much sign of puppies going to the bathroom. You'll see that mom is licking their behinds as they eat. What she is doing is stimulating their rectal glands as puppies and kittens don't automatically start going to the bathroom on their own from birth. Instead mom stimulates the glands and they go then. Yes, she eats it. Later as they start going on their own you will often see her come up behind them and eat it off the floor. This is why most new moms get worms. (Most pups are born with them) She does this because dogs have a strong instinct of "Dont do it in the den". She's teaching them that this is not where we do that. As soon as they are walking freely, set up a place where the pups can potty, a small distance from the sleeping space. Mom will be happier and it will make later house training easier.
Pups should be allowed to nurse for eight weeks. While many people try to start selling or giving animals away at 6 weeks, the pups are still receiving nutrients and antibodies from moms milk. Once Mom is weaned she should be spayed.
Each litter a dog has takes approximately a year off of her lifespan. Animals that breed regularly live 5-8 years LESS than animals that never breed at all. Each litter also increases (in some cases TRIPLES) the risks of Masticular, Ovarian and Uteran cancers.

What behavior do you expect from your Rottweiler before birth, after birth or with the puppies?
At the beginning of labor she will become very restless, if you have her a birthing box ready, she will probably go in and come
of it, etc. If this goes on for say all night and nothing happens, take her to the vet. Some dogs have trouble staying in hard enough labor to give birth. If she does fine, she'll have the puppies, she will take care of it. Have soft warm blankets ready and keep them warm after they are born. Don't crowd her, but stay near enough to observe. Most vets don't mind at all to call and get 1-2-3 tips once your dog goes into labor. After they are born. . .ENJOY, ENJOY!
