Seriously, he is a little guy....he is somewhat potty trained. But a breeder says you can train them to potty in a kitty litter box. Is this true?

I am friends with a young married couple who are going to be away this weekend on their first anniversary. They asked me to watch their pets (1 full grown cat and a 4 month old puppy). The catch is, they want me to stay at their house during the weekend so the pets will be able to be out of their kennels for most of the day.

My question is: what would be a fair rate for looking after the animals while living at their house for the weekend? I wouldn't really worry about it so much if I was just looking after the pets. But, I live quite a ways outside of town, so I wouldn't be able to go back to my house over the weekend.

My fiance has been working around home for about the last month which means he has been home everynite. For some reason our dog which is about 7mo. old has started crapping all over the house and peeing in the living room, he runs out in the road and doesn't even tell us anymore when he has to go outside. My fiance wants to get rid of him which I will not do! That would break my heart! He says if I wont get rid of him then he has to stay outside. Hes to small, only six pounds, and we have coyotes out in the country and raccoons bigger than the dog. I dont know what to do to make the dog stop. We put him in his kennel when hes bad and sometimes he already knows hes in trouble and will put himself in the kennel. Someone please help!

I have three dogs and i let them out in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, and of course at night, but when i'm at work or something i leave out pads so they can pee or poop. I go through so many pads a week, i use the whole 100 pads in like less than a month. And they are like $40.00 a box of 100 pads and it is not working out for me at all. But yes i love my three babies so much but anywho, does anyone know?

The city I just moved from banned all Rotts and Pitbulls. I own both. Most gentle, fun loving, energetic buddies I have. It makes me sick.

I have a 3 year old neutered male australian shepherd that is terrified of people and dogs so he behaves aggressively. I have had him since he was 7 weeks old and he has never been abused or mistreated in any way. He has never bitten anyone but he barks and growls and has snapped at some people. He is very well trained in obedience and is fine with people and dogs if he is in an obedience command or on a leash, he can even have people touch him sometimes then(he shakes and is very jumpy still and might let out a small growl). No one can even get to our door any more because he is getting worse with people and I'm afraid it's just a matter of time until he bites someone. We have small neighbor kids that wander into our yard sometimes and i'm terrified he will bite one of them. He has been attacked by other dogs numerous times so now he snaps at them before he gives them a chance to be nice. Putting him down is NOT an option and we dont have any dog trainers or behaviorists nearby.

We bought two puppies from the human society. One died of Parvo three days after we got him it was sad and surprising. He showed some symptons one day and died the next very quickly. We bleached everywhere the puppy has been and our other dog is about 5 months old and has been gotting parvo shots. We took him to the vet and he got another shot making the total 3. I feel helpless, we keep this poor dog confined to one room where the sick puppy did not go. I do not know what else I can do to help save this dog. I think he has already been exposed no matter what I do and I hate to sit around and wait till he shows signs. He has tested negative so far but I know there is an incubation period. The vet told us we cannot get another dog for at least a year. Is there something else I could be doing to prevent this virus??
