My brother in law has one and he is the coolest dog.
He loves to play frisbee and will herd the horses or cattle.
He is a really good looking dog and very sweet.
He is very active and takes lots of exercise. But he is fun to take with you as he loves to go in the truck and like people. He will socialize with anyone who will pet him and let him get into their lap.
Have fun with yours.

Blue heelers are hearders. They are active and prone to be destructive if not spent a enough time with. Could you please explain what behaviors you don't like. You should maybe try a Doggie Day Care, a place where you drop your dog off in the morning and the staff keep him busy well you are at work. The Day Care will keep your dog occupied until you come back to pick her up.

I have 2- 12wk old blue pups. These two sisters are the best and worst. They are totally lovable and loyal and smart. But they can get mean to other animals and they sometimes won't listen to me. They know what they are not supposed to get into, but they do it anyway, while I'm looking at them. I think they are some of the smartest dogs I have ever owned.

exercise, exercise, exercise. LOTS of it. These dogs are working dogs and NEED something to do. If you can't give her anything to herd, then you need to give her LOTS of excercise to run all that energy off...otherwise she will run your life and destroy your house.

Also, think about getting her into agility and/or flyball training.
