Seriously, he is a little guy....he is somewhat potty trained. But a breeder says you can train them to potty in a kitty litter box. Is this true?

Yes, you can train small dogs to use a litter box. There is also a product from Purina called secondnature that is a doggy litter box. There is even a training guide in the bag of dog litter to help you train your dog to use the litter box. The litter pan with this system is designed for dogs.

Cat litter works just as well, but I have included a link in case you are interested in the one designed for dogs.

My sister has one and it goes in a litter box. It's a really big one. Twice as wide as a regular box. She said the first time the dog went on the floor (this part is kinda gross) she put it in the litter box, and every time after that the dog went in the box. She lines it with newspaper not cat litter. Peace.

Absolutely... An ex-girlfriend of mine had hers trained to use the same box as the cat... The only thing is that she would catch it eating his and the cat's feces from the box...

I believe so, as this would be no different than paper training them or whatever. Good luck.
