My Dog Died A Couple Days ago, I was pretty upset. and I was talking to my friend on "habbo hotel" and this girl I don't know came up to us and said "haha I'm glad your F******* dog is dead, I hope he rots in hell"

the conversation went something like this

Girl: "haha I'm glad your F******* dog is dead, I hope he rots in hell"

Friend: "hey lay off, shes having a hard time."

Girl: "oh go eat the rotting dog"

at that point we left the room, but that girl followed us and kept on being a jerk.

I decided to go offline and call my friend on the phone instead, I started crying because of what that girl said, and I won't ever forget it.

seriously, how can a person be so rude?! That girl didn't even know me, or my dog. why are people so mean?

Any ideas what this could be? Any at home treatments? I don't really have the money to take him to a Vet. I took him recently because he was limping and spent $200 for x-rays and the visit only to be told he had an inflammation in his paw. Has anyone had a dog that has a soft tissue lump on his elbow ? Can you tell me what it could be? (Serious Answers Only Please!!!)

and he wasn't playing. He's a little Jack Russell, he is not your average Jack Russell, he usually doesn't bark, and he is usually so loving, he loves to give people kisses.
However, lately a friend of mine moved into my 1 bedroom, tepmorarily until we move into our 2 bedroom flat, and she brought her cat.
Now my problem is I got up this morning and everything was fine I was petting my dog, going to get ready for work, and he crawled back under the covers with my friend, I came back into the room and he growled at me, just low growls, I told him to be quite, and when I walked closer to the bed he got out from under the sheets, and beared his teeth and started barking, when I told him to be quiet (and yes sternly) and I advanced he advanced on me, I stood my ground, and had my friend take hold of him, and then I grabbed him and put him in his cage, but I do not know what would have caused this. Could he be stressed out because of the living arrangements, or has something happened

There are thousands of dogs and cats urgently needing homes, rescue centres this time of year are full of them, so why do people still insist on breeding from their household pets. Is it just for the money, or is there some other reason.

We have a 9 week old Min Dachshund puppy who is beautiful. She does however have a tendency to bite, fingers toes, arms etc. We have lots of toys for her to chew and play with but she does still have a tendecny to bite whenever we play with her. I am assuming that she is still teething and once she develops her adult teeth she should get better. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

my dog was lying on her back on my bed last night. She rolled over and rolled right off the bed. She refused to go anywhere near the bed or bed room for at least an hour after that.

Ok. here's the deal. Me and my husband have a tiny maltese puppy, and i want to get him a 'sister' to play with and my husband is telling me no. Im at home more than my husband (who works long hours) and I'm the one who take our dog for walks, give baths, visit the vet, feed him.etc.etc. My husband wont let me get anther dog, and he cant give me a reason why. Is that wrong of him since im the one who will care for it?
So, please help me get my puppy.
What can I tell my husband to convince him??

I have a 3yr old lab named Asher. Everytime someone goes near the front door, he knocks you out of the way and runs outside.
He pees in our neighbors yard, chases people down the street, jumps in your car if the door is open, if not he jumps on your car. He knocks people over that come to our door.
I've been trying to get him to stop and he won't.
I've tried teaching him how to sit and stay.
I've tried teaaching him he is not allowed in the livingroom.
I've tried a firm voice, "bad dog"
I've tried rewarding him for good behavior at the door, I keep a can of treats at the door so if he does what he is supposed to, he gets a treat.
NOTHING WORKS!
Please help, he drives everyone, including the neighborhood nuts.

My parents are letting me get a dog and I think Boston terriers are just so cute. If anyone has one...can you tell me if they're essentially all-around good house dogs?
