my dog was lying on her back on my bed last night. She rolled over and rolled right off the bed. She refused to go anywhere near the bed or bed room for at least an hour after that.

LOL yees, both dogs and cats do that on occasion. And are always oh so surprised when it happens. When I friend told me her cat does that regularly, I scarcely believed her; now I have seen my own pet slip out of bed to fall on the floor, and it was hilarious.

try to familliarize her with the room again. take it slowly. don't drag her. if she really doesn't want to come in and looks pretty scared, try to find out if there's anything wrong in your room. if there's nothing wrong, then your dog must be submissive or something. her submissiveness must be cause of the scaring that you do whenever you shove her off (I'm not telling that she is submissive but just to make sure). if she really is submissive, avoid shoving her with your deep scary voice or any material you use to throw at her. take it slowly. step by step. just let her be familliar with the room again.

thats actually quite funny. its shows that dogs have a good sense of emotions as otherwise it would have gotten straight back on to the bed again.

Haha! My English Bulldog falls off the couch the same say, and then hides in a corner until we stop laughing at her... *snicker*

Sounds sensible. She feels distrustful of it, as she fell and got a little hurt and a little scared, but she doesn't know why this happened. (Wish it would happen to my dog---she's not allowed up, but I have evidence she's there when I'm gone!)

That is sweet. our dog also sleeps on her back at times and I can so see that happening in the future. Cute tale.
