We have a westie. He is awesome but such a major pain. He isn't even a year yet. Do your research. Westies are one of the most difficult dogs to train because they have a mind of their own. I've heard story after story of westies being turned away from obedience schools because the trainers insist you cannot train a westie. I can tell you from experience that this is soooo true. But I love my westie and wouldn't trade him for anything.

Do an internet search. There are a ton of sites about westies and many are breeder's sites. Just google it or use yahoo.
