There is a chart on the dog food bag that tells how much to feel by weight. This is an average so maybe you might want to increase it a little. You can't see if your pup is gaining weight. Step on your household scale. Weight yourself, then yourself with the pup. Subtract the two numbers to find the weight of the pup. As long as the pup is gaining, you are alright. Do this every couple of weeks.

Lab's are opportunistic eaters so follow the instructions on your food label! You may vary a bit but they are usually pretty close. My buddy has a lab that is on a self feed system... at my request but you have to do that as a puppy. If that food is available for them anytime they want it WITHOUT competition from other dogs... they MAY eat only when they're hungry. But be careful... it's tough to do with a lab.

I also own a very large breed-irish wolfhound-the best thing to remember with large breed puppies is not to feed them something that has alot of protein as this could make them grow too fast too soon which will cause growth problems like improper hip placement or elbow displacement. I feed my pup california natural brand dog food-lamb and rice-its an all natural food with very little ingredients so dogs can digest it easily. whatever you feed him, make sure the first 3 ingredients are NOT something like corn meal or pulp--get a product that has meat first, then grain(like rice) and then meat byproduct. Other good dog foods are Solid Gold, Innova, California Natural and Wellness. These dog foods cost more but they ARE better.

Puppies need to eat often. Since it is dried food leaving some in her bowl so she can get a few bites every time she feels hungry. If your worried about mistakes, then I suggest you increase the amount until you see she is not eating it all at one time. Then you will know her capacity. Labs have a tendency to become over weight if they are not exercised. Dogs in general will only eat until they are full and walk away, whereas cats will eat until the food is gone.

well you can do one of the following:
-follow what the label of yor dog food says
-ask the breeder where you got her from, what amount she/he recommends feeding you puppy
-when in doubt, ask a vet
as for feeding times, feed her when she gets up, and around your suppertime (its easier to keep track and is better because if you feed your puppy at night, she didn't have time to digest her food.

I think u should give him/her just alittle bit more - and see if he/she is gaining weight!
Or maybe just give her a tiny bit in the afternoon.
