I have some puppies that are just shy of 8 wks old and discovered they have worms so i gave them a small amount of wormer liquid that i have on hand for my other dogs, does this stuff really work? The liquid is the "Carob" flavored kind by the "8 in 1" brand and they had no trouble taking it , but will this actually rid them of the roundworms?

My dog gets diarrea from dog food with chicken. I want to keep him on dry dog food. Could anyone reccoment any? When he gets it i put him on beef and rice, and this seems to do the trick. I tried chicken and rice but that makes it worse.

I got 2 dogs and cross pointer/boxer and a mastiff they get on great, always make me laugh and they talk to me in their own little way, mine are quite intellegent dogs and I love sleepin with them, one next to me and the other round me feet, they chose there own place to sleep with me, does that sound sad or does your dog make you feel warm inside?.

My yard hads tons of them. The squirrels knock them down all the time. When I noticed he was eating the pinecones, I notice he ate less of his own dog food. They almost seem like crack for dogs, because if there is one near and he can't get it, he will wine, and bark until I throw it away. I don't want to keep him chained up, but If I let him loose, all he wants is pine cones.

I have a 1 yr/old toy fox terrier. We have been consistent with his training. We have him on a feeding schedule, and we take him out to go to the bathroom multiple times per day. He will usually go outside, however several times a week he will have an "accident", which is usually at the front door, where he goes outside. He is not very good at signaling when he has to go, so if nobody see's him go to the door, he will just go to the bathroom. It is very frustrating. I want to be able to leave him out of his cage when we are not home, however, I don't trust that he won't go to the bathroom. Any ideas???? Please, no stupid answers. P.S. My husband and I both work FT and he is in his cage while we are gone, and never has accidents in his cage.

I own a two year old pittbull that is wonderfull with people. She is the best dog with my children and anybody who may enter my house. The problem is that I would like to get another dog, maybe a minipin, but she is not social with other dogs. She allways tries to bark at the in a stern way. she is a runt and is not a fighter, but afraid she might try to eat a puppy if I brought one home. Any suggestions?

I have a Shitz Su (sp) dog. He is 15 years old now. For the last few years, every summer, he itches constantly. He has very sensitive skin. I know he gets fleas, as I have an outdoor-indoor cat. I can't seem to control them or his iyching. Everytime I shampoo him with flea shampoo (prescription from the vet) he itches more. If I use a hypo-allergenic shampoo its the same.He has pulled most of his hair out and has chewed himself raw. I've bombed the house, etc. Alot of times I know the fleas are gone but he still itches. I feel so bad for him.I've tried all kinds of medications on him. He starts to heal up some and then starts all over. Any help at all or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.
Colleen
Also, everytime I take him in to be groomed, even in the winter months, he does the same thing, but it isn't as bad. I trhink he has very dry sensitive skin.
