White vinegar and water. Or use some of the commercially prepared stuff, it all works about the same.
Meanwhile, put something over the place where the dog peed so that the spot can't be used again. Treat the spot several times over the course of a month to be sure you killed the odors the dog can smell too, and to break the habit of peeing in that spot.

Well you could get new carpet but that is much too expensive as an animal extpert and with a dog of my own i normal use paper towels and carpet cleaner, then vacum the area for about 3 minutes and then spray air freashner in the area and the room for about 3 days. This should work cause it works for me but if it doesn't work for you i am terribly sorry!

Go purchase a product called - nature's miracle - It has an natural enzyme that will help eliminate the odor and pull out the stain where other products will only mask the odor and the dog will go back and urinate again because he can still smell where
he urinated prior.

There's a foam available from pet stores that remove the odour and stops cats/dogs peeing in the same place. Thsi is handy if it's just one small area. If it's all over then you'll either have to get the whole carpet cleaned or replace it.

Once it is in there,it is in the pad so the smell will always be there for a dog to smell. There are some products you can buy at Petsmart that will make it less noticible.

i suggest you take off the carpet like replace it..or if not..just scrub it off right there with clean scented soap and water and have it dried..like take off the carpet and put it outside to dry under the heat of the sun..and then once it's dried maybe you could spray on some air freshener or something..

Sprinkle some bicarbonate of soda on the affected area. Leave it for about 10 minutes and then vacuum it up. Will neutralise the nasty smell.

ANTI ICKY POO!
my carpet installer recommended it.

I have researched it. It seems to be the only one that really works.
It is expensive but worth it if it works.
I would suggest you buy a quart and try it. It also comes in gallon sizes. e bay is the cheapest.

50/50 vinegar and water, spray over spot...stinks for a little while, but soon evaporates and the smell goes away.
