Dogs are almost people in fur coats, lol.

Yes, I love dogs. They are very much like people. They understand so many things and respond good or bad in relation to the way they are treated. They each have their own personality and are wonderful when paired with people who are right for them and visa versa.

I love my little dog sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much.

I am so happy I got him. I do not regret it at all, even when he's bad. I would kill anything that hurt my little guy, he is like my baby. He is always so very happy and excited to see me when I get home and he has the cutest little face. I have a mini dachshund named Oscar.

He also get to sleep my bed with me and my boyfriend. Oscar also looks so funny when he runs because he is front heavy (because most of his wieight is in his chest and head) and has such little legs. Sometimes I just laugh so hard when he is running or other things that it makes my stomach hurts and makes my eyes water. You must love your dogs just like I love mine. Keep spoiling them.

Dogs are great, that's what i always say.

Also, I know he will always be there for me.

No, that ain't sad, we all need someone to love us unconditionally.
Dogs don't go into a huff and if you have to tell them off, they come and lick your hand. How many humans are like that?
My little man went to the Great Doggie Home in the sky 2 yrs ago. He was 17 yrs old and my best friend. Everyone said, "Get another dog", but it would have been like trying to replace one of my family. He was just irreplaceable, so enjoy their friendship and their love while you can.

I have a German Shephard called Sheba, she is almost 5 and love her to bits. She's a very good dog and very intelligent. I also have another dog called Sadie but not sure what breed she is, she was 12 on the 29th July. She lives with my dad. I love both my dogs and would do anything for them. I think it's great to cuddle up to them but Sheba isn't allowed on the furniture, (too big and too hairy). But when I stay at my dads I have both of them on the bed!!

Dogs are the greatest animals on earth. They are extremely loyal and protective and all they ask in return is for you to feed them and treat them well. I have my Labrador sleep on my bed every night and he even gets to choose where he sleeps and I just position my body around his so not to disturb him. He is my best friend in the whole world and I love taking him to the parks near my home where he loves to play. Dogs and all animals need us to look after and care for them as there are far too many people in this world who have no respect for themselves or anyone else, let alone what they would see as just an animal. In my experience I have found that animals are better than people in so many ways and they don't judge you or lie to you or do anything else to you that a human would out of jealousy or spite. I think it's really nice that a lot of people on here seem to really like their animals and it is refreshing to see after some of the things we see in the newspapers on a daily basis.
Long live the animals!!!!

I love my dog to bits. She is as high in my ranks as my kids. Her name is Cookie and she is a 5 month old white and red boxer. She is the best. She does all basic commands, sit, lay, heel, stay etc. Poor little mite suffers with really bad hay fever so has to take piriton everyday. Her poor little face swells up to twice the size, bless her, but she is still so good even though she must feel like ****! She is mine and the kids best friend. And yes she does make me feel all warm inside, I cry when she had he jabs and injections she needs for hay fever! Really sad.

I have two basset hounds. I love them SOOO much it's not even funny. I make them homemade dog treats and I'm always spending money on their favorite store treats. They're both kicked back right now and keeping cool. They can't take this heat. They have a doggy door to go in & out as they please, along with a big fenced in yard to run and play. I wish all animals could be so lucky. They sleep with me in the winter months, because they like the electric blanket. And to answer your question, it makes me feel warm inside. It sounds like your dogs are lucky to have you.

I love my staff terrier/cross she is two and half. She is my dearest friend and companion and goes most places with me however, if I can't take her I get such a warm and excited greeting when I get back! Tilly sleeps with me and follows me about as she has to be near me.

My family always remark how they think I love the dog more than them however, they have never shown me the same loyalty, love and interest as she does and she doesn't argue with me either!!!

I have two dogs as well, two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and they are part of our family. Trust me you don't sound sad at all, thankfully there are lots of people out there like you who love their animals and it's great to see it.

The only thing is though is that I could never sleep with my two because one of them snores like an elephant- I wouldn't get any sleep!!!
