Most vets will nueter a dog at 4 months.

I work in the vet field and there is a lot of disagreement about this. A lot of rescue groups will neuter as early as 8 weeks, but I usually encourage people to wait until 6 months. Especially with smaller breeds. 6 months is usually about when it should be done.

The vet i used to work for has always said 6 months. This gives time for the testicles to drop and the dog to mature a little. Call u'r vet and get his/her opinion.

as soon as the testicles drop they can be neutered. the sooner the better because after they start lifting their leg to mark or pee, you wont be able to stop it,it will be done out of habit.

The breed doesn't MATTER!

As soon as the testicles are decended,they can be removed!
