My dog is a cocker spanial that is about 7mo old. She is potty trained except for the fact that she is constantly peeing out of excitement.... If a visitor shows up she pees, when you go to pet her she pees, if you want to pick her up she will pee all over you! I don't know what to do. Its getting to be too much!!! Is there anyone that could give me any useful advice about this that might help?

She is my daughter's dog and vet checked. She seems reasonably happy, considering, but we're worried about pressure points, skin condition, etc. She seems to like a bath once she's in it....to ease her pain? Vet says she has no pain. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

A German Sheperd, a Toy Poodle, and a Doberman were awaiting their fates at the Veterinarian's office. The Poodle asks the Sheperd."So, what are you in here for?"
"Well, I'm a digger. I feel compelled to dig all the time. My owner tried to sedate me, tie me up, lock me up in a room. Nothing helps. The last straw was I dug up the leather couch, so I'm here for the lethal injection. What are you in here for?"
The Poodle says,"I'm a barker myself. I will bark at anything, at all hours of the day and night. I can't help it. They tried to sedate me too, it didn't help much, so I'm here for the lethal injection too."
Then the Doberman says,
"Oh, well...I'm a humper. I just can't help it. Everything looks so good to me I just jump on and hump my brains out. The last straw was when my owner was getting out of the shower this morning. She bent over to dry her feet and I hopped up onto her back."
The other two look at him and say "Lethal injection, Huh?"
"Naw," he says, "Just a nail trim."

My aunt and her family have an Australian Shepherd puppy. She wants to have a litter for her children to "experience birth." I am SO against this. I have informed her that she will be teaching her children irresponisilbility, and for every puppy she is breeding there is a dog that dies in a shelter that could have gone to that home. SHe has absolutely No experience with dogs beyond a family dog and in the past she brought this up to me and I had convinced her not to.
Today she brought up the fact that she is adament and going to go through with it.
Money is not an issue for her, she wants to hire a vet to come to her house and help her deliver the puppies.
There was a video that I recieved by email that had innocents dogs and puppies dying in shelters because they have no homes, my aunt thinks that they only put sick animals down in shelters, does anyone know where to find this video, have any great points for my argument? lets hear from some breeders........

I played with my dog today, and he's always so hyper (he's a beagle), and as he swept his rear on my knee by accident, I felt something moving on my knee. So when I checked, there was a white, short, and sticky worm on it. It was still moving, could it possibly be a tapeworm? it was very sticky... and how quickly is it transmitted to people? Please help!

Okay, yesterday my 1yr 3mo old local dog gave birth to 4 healthy puppies. It all went okay and my dog was nursing her new puppies with no problems at all until...

this morning, my dog is acting weird, she won't nurse the puppies anymore and she tries to eat the puppies! I was so dead shocked to see when my dog tried to nibble one of the puppy's head, I took the puppy away and my dog almost bit me!

My dog is acting weird, her eyes looks sharp.
I offered her food and water but she won't eat or drink.

I have to separate the puppies, now what?
How do I feed the puppies?
Is it alright to give them a milk formula of some sort?

Does that mean my dog doesn't want her puppies?
This is her first prego.

Thanks for all your help.
