I just got a female blue heeler, 2 years old. She is extremely aggressive around men. Even men she knows she will growl and even try to bite. Any suggestions on how to break her of this?

I offered my dogs food, he said that his dog finds it when he wants, if he's hungry. That he had part of a burger from McDonalds....I was very upset and told him to get lost. Why or how could you ever let a dog fend for his own, geesh, he's 35 and should know better. Am I out of line?

Our Bassett hound keeps getting heat rash under her front legs. Vet said to keep her 'armpits' cool, but we have to take her out a few times a day. Any Ideas?

She was full grown when I got her. She act's like I am killing her every time I try to trim them. I never had this problem with my great dane. It just breaks my heart to do it.

He usually just nips and occasionally scratches, but that is when he is being playful. But for some reason he has taken a liking to hiding under our bed. While doing so, he just sits and growls, and when you try to see if he is into anything, he will try and bite you. At first, I thought it was that he was hiding something, but we cleaned out underneath the bed, and still nothing has changed. Amazing thing is that as soon as he comes out from under the bed, he becomes his normal playful self. I am at a loss, if anyone can help.

I have two coonhounds and they seem to be very smart but we have had them for two weeks now and they are able to come and go out when ever they feel but they INSIST on going in two rooms the kids play room and the front room where they sleep at night how can stop this? They have their food and their water put up at 8 pm sharp everynight and are taken out once an hour between then and midnight they will play out side and we praise them for going outside WHEN they do but i always wake up to poop everywhere ! And now my entire house smells gross ive tried vinigar and the pet powder just seemed to mask the smell for a while is there anything else i can do to rid my house of this nasty smell?

My family used to have a labrador, and we sadly departed, it has been over a year, and now we are looking for a new dog. My mom said that any Dog that sheds, we can have AS LONG, as its LESS than a labrador. We are looking for a bigger sized dog, a cocker spaniel is TOO small and a great dane is TOO big. We can give the Dog an hour a day of excersie, and we want a Dog that isn't hyper all the time, we want a faithful couch potato, and a fun excersize companion. Thanks For All Your Advice!!

If he is given a TREAT every morning then he wont go out and eat grass! Like as if he needs sugar first thing on an empty stomach every morning...Could this be something like a diabetic?
