i need to no becuse i am getting one soon and i dont know what one to get

Both of them are great. Though I'd suggest a cat if you won't have that much time to spend with it. While dogs need to be bathed, have walks, and be played with, cats can clean themselves, don't need walks, and they can entertain themselves. If you can't decide yet, get a fish or a rabbit or a guniea pig instead. Good luck on your new pet!

I prefer cats. Dogs are loud, messy, smelly, and they drool all over the place, while cats are mostly quiet, clean, and non-drooling.
Some people say that cats are too snotty to have as pets, but those people have probably never had a cat. A cat can be just as loving and affectionate as a dog (three of mine meet me at the door every time I come home, and they follow me around the house and lay in my lap at every chance), but you have to earn it. If you'd prefer an animal you can play with, go for a dog, but if you'd prefer something more quiet and less "needy", get a cat.

Easy- Dog
Besides cats stink up the whole house with their litter box and shed on everything and only want to love you when they want love I had a cat once who loved to hide under the couch and everytime you walked by he would scratch your feet dogs dont do sneaky stuff like that.........most of the time

cat-much easier to take care of, and you don't have to get up and take it for a walk when your to tired
