several things: cremate her and save the ashes ina special container with her photo and then when you pass- put the container with you- if you are cremated too mix the ashes....orrrr have the ashes made into jewelry and wear it----that is the new thing now---but do what you feel best--do any of your familys have ground to bury her?
love her till she is finially gone..remember once she takes her last breath she will not feel the cremation savour your memories and create new ones.. pet her and talk to her often

We did cremation with our 12 year old cat. We have his ashes in a gold tin that since on top of a bookshelf. We put him there because he loved being able to look down at everybody.
You could keep your dog's ashes in a object that is special and keep your dog with you permanently.

many vets know of cremation services. in the uk it cost about£100, my father had it done with one of his dogs and now he has his ashes. i guess you could scatter them on a favourite place of your dogs, or keep them. but a little advice....dont be worrying about her passing now, cherish each moment you have left with her. she might be a pet, but i know how much a part of the family they are. give her lots of care and attention (which i'm sure you do already). when the inevitable happens, you'll be left with many happy memories xxxxxxxxxx

Most vets offer a cremation service, this is what I plan to do with my pets.

organise a funeral for her. a real big funeral. be sure to invite funeral undertaker for the event. buy good casket and cry very well. sure it makes a big sense.
