That depends on the puppy. Depending on breed, quality of the breeding stock the puppy was produced from, the quality of care the breeder takes, etc... it can be anywhere from 150-200 dollars or so all the way up to several thousand dollars to purchase one.
I might recommend finding an animal rescue group which has younger dogs that have already been evaluated by a vet and tested for behavioral problems, though. The fees are usually much lower (just a nominal adoption fee of 50-100 dollars or so), the dogs are usually just as friendly and loving, and you help to rescue an animal which might have been put to sleep because the rescue center couldn't afford to keep it alive indefinitely.

Get a puppy for free from a shelter. There are lots of good dogs there needing homes. You will save a puppy's life by getting one from a shelter. It will cost you a neutering fee. I think this is usually around $100.
Please don't buy one from a store or a breeder. Save a life in a shelter. It will be cheaper that way and you will find a really great friend for life!

Depends on how old it is.
newborn pups are about a 10oz. to a pound. Older ones could be at 10 lbs. depending on which breed it is.
You wern't specific enough in your question, I took this as a "weight" question, while others could read this as a "cost" question.
