Could it be someone who knows us? It happened a year ago and again two nights ago... Last year a whole litter, this time two!
We have our own cats, and live in a regular neighborhood, it seems to me they know we have three of our own so they do it for that reason..
Why do people not spay and neuter???

This cat has been in this tree for 3 days. It is sitting, sometimes standing, on a thin branch, at the top of the tree - probably around 3-4 stories. Can a cat survive a fall from this distance? The fire department could not get a ladder truck in the backyard and the local humane society laughed at the situation.

My friend's cat was treated for cystitis some months ago. The vet told her that this sometimes happens in older female cats and could recur. If this happeded the cat would have to be placed on medication for the rest of her life and as this would be very expensive she was advised to take out pet insurance. She unfortunately didnt do this and now the cystitis has come back. When she looked up about pet insurance she has discovered that if the cat was treated for this condition before that she wouldnt be covered for this. Do any of you know of an insurance company that she could try or how she can get around this problem?

I currently have a 4 year old male cat who doesn't really like other animals, but I really want a kitten and wondered whether he would get on better with a male or female?

my 2yr old cat won't eat when I'm gone. When I get home he will wolf his food down like there's no tomorrow. Last night he ended up throwing up because he ate too fast. Why won't he eat when I'm gone and then wolf his food down when I'm home? He's the only cat I have btw.

I have a male red spotted bengal cross, 7 months old who eats fake fur. We have to hide anything that has fake fur on it as he tears it off and eats it, he also eats paper. Does anybody know why?

I have a cat who's ready to be neutered but the last time I brought my other pet cat to the vet, he peed on my lap when I was carrying him during the drive to the veterinary clinic.
How do I prevent this from happening again? I'm thinking of purchasing a transports cage for him but I'm afraid he will start meowing out of fright and try to knock himself out of it. Please advise.

easily themselves by Googling it? Especially the questions that are so blatantly obvious --- if my pet is sick, injured, I have no money---A VET???!!!! It's ridiculously so easy to search for nearly all the answers online and why trust some strangers when it comes to the life of your pet!? I wouldn't even if they meant the best of intentions--that's why there's a vet who studied years to fix what ails our pets. Geesh!

Sorry, I'm so disappointed at the lack of neurons people don't use. Oh...lemme restate that--WON'T use!!!

Anyone else? Would thoroughly like your two cents worth on the subject matter

Just this past year, my two cats (13 and 14 yrs old) have started to snore noticeably. I was sitting watching TV one night and heard a strange noise... I muted the TV and listened... my cat was way in the other room and SNORING as loud as could be! They must have learned it from my dog (along with other habits)! haha

What kinds of habits do your kitties have?? My one cat will cup her paw over the top of a cabinet door, pull the door back and let it go, making a really "nice" pounding noise... OVER and OVER and OVER until she gets what she wants... or if there is company over, she'll jump up on the table, make a complete circle passing everyone, jumps down, repeats. Years and years of spoiling have made two ROTTEN puddy-tats! LOL

This is my last chance to keep our cat, if I don't find a resolution for her soon, like within the next day, we're going to have to get rid of her.
We've had her for over a year and never had problems with her until we moved into our new house. Yes, we changed the litterbox and litter when we moved, but we keep it as clean as we can and they DO use it (she and our other cat). However, she's started peeing on the carpet (the brand-new installed-by-the-military wall-to-wall carpet!!) and we don't know why. Or how to make her stop. We've tried cleaning the litterbox more often. I tried Lysol. My husband actually STEAMCLEANED it today. And just a few minutes ago, we caught her peeing on the carpet AND the wall.
My husband says she HAS to go, unless I can figure out something and FAST.
How do I permanently get the smell out, and how do I keep her from doing it anymore?

My maine coon kitten is docile and just an "angel kitten" and I'm wondering if the extroverted personality of the siamese might be overwhelming to him.

The cats eat Natural Balance dry, on demand, and eat like-quality canned twice a day. All are inside cats. All neutered. All about the same age, in fact, this is the youngest at 1 1/2 yrs. Only the one cat as really awful smelly bms --consistently. They've all had vet care and been wormed, etc. All 3 have well-formed bms --not runny and not hard. Why is one so awfully stinky?

This is a humerous situation, however, it's also a presenting problem. I have a 3-4 month old kitten who has recently began humping my arm when I am typing at my laptop. He lays on my arm and kneeds (kind of --without nails) and bites at my wrist... he'll do this for however long I allow him. I didn't know what he was doing, origionally, and one day he moved off and I saw that he was... aroused.
I have another cat (who is 2 years old) and he never did this. Anyone have any advice? I'd greatly appreciate it!! Thank you.

OK only serious answers please.....
I have not gotten a full nights sleep since I was away from my fat cat (I love her to death realy) for a week 3 months ago. She wakes me up a few times each night by sticking her paw in my face until I get up to feed her. I don't feed her too much, I give her IAMS weight control. 1/4 C. at 6 am, 1/8 C. at lunch, 1/4C. at 6pm, 1/8 C. at 12am, 1/8 C. at 4am. She weighs 12ish lbs. But I dont think I feed her too much because as I said its WEIGHT CONTROL, but i'd just like to get some sleep.
