This is a humerous situation, however, it's also a presenting problem. I have a 3-4 month old kitten who has recently began humping my arm when I am typing at my laptop. He lays on my arm and kneeds (kind of --without nails) and bites at my wrist... he'll do this for however long I allow him. I didn't know what he was doing, origionally, and one day he moved off and I saw that he was... aroused.
I have another cat (who is 2 years old) and he never did this. Anyone have any advice? I'd greatly appreciate it!! Thank you.

He is self stimulating...remove him from your arm or he'll get into a bad habit. Misting him with water will help, too.

It is normal for a kitten to stimulate himself a little bit, but I'm sure you'd prefer that he didn't use your arm! I would suggest misting him with a spray bottle when he does this so a habit does not form.

Also, you may want to consider having him neutered. When he reaches sexual maturity (usually at 6-7 months) he will begin to spray everywhere. Consult your vet about the process, and see if it would be right for you and your cat.

Good luck!

Defenitley have your little man sterilized because after a couple of months his sexual drive will calm down, honestly do it asap before he starts spraying and leaving his scent around the house. Good luck

Buy him a dinner and a movie, don't let him be a s l utty kitty, because that would be taking advantage of him, thusly continuing his downward spiral of self-loathing. You need to improve his self-worth, and once you do that, then he will stop giving you ANY attention, and go on to find someone else.

do your self a favor, have him neutered.I've had male cats for yrs. I also worked for vets. If you cannot afford a vet, I'm sure you can contact the spca in your town. The cost will be alot less. If you cannot find an spca, call a vets office and explain. they can direct you Good Luck

Looks as though he really likes you. I would not let him continue doing it beacause humping can be a sign of dominance in the animal.
