I had a kitty with some people i house shared with that used to bite me everywhere and scratch i dont think she did it in a nasty manner if she snaps n bites ur neck then maybe she is mean but if its a continuos bite or nibble then she prob only teething. My kitty used to sit an inch away from my eyes n each time i blinked she would paw at them. When she was older as in a year she would never come in i just think she didnt like a lot of fuss I had to leave her at my old house when i moved i was gutted cos i loved her to bits Im sure your cat loves you x

kittens are just learning things in the world and especially people, they are not aware that biting hurts us so bad or that we dont like it. most likely the kitten is just tryin to play with you, but allowin it to continue will let him growup thinking its ok. if u dont want him doing this, gently thump him on the head when he bites and say NO. he will stop soon. then if he tries again ignore him and dont pet him. he will learn why ur doing this, only ignore when he bites though or he will think u dont like HIM .. tricky training a cat but really not hard. i use to have 6 cats lol. i know how to train em:) but hes only a kitten so play biting is natural its when he gets older u need to buckle down and show him people dont play bite. he also may just be "kissin" you. lickin is cleanin and some people thinking its kissing, its not. some cats nibble when they show affection and since hes a lil tike he doesnt know how bad hes biting, he will learn, just tell him no firmly when he bites too hard or when u just dont want him to. but dont be wishy washy on the whoe biting thing or u will confuse the cat and he wont know what he is doing wrong.

He's a baby, of course he's going to try and play with you, and yea, for kittens that means a fair share of biting. He doesn't hate you though, don't worry! Make sure you scold him a little bit when he does this though, just push him off you and tell him no, don't hurt him though. But make sure you do this every time he tries to bite, you don't want him growing up thinking this is acceptable behaviour.

He's only a little kitten so he's still teething. Ignore it, he will grow out of it. I'm sure he loves you otherwise he wouldn't come near you.

yes is normal,,, its his way of showing affection, take it as a complement!!! its called a "love bite". same as when they kill a mouse and bring it to you, its a " gift " for you,,, the biggest thing to remember is that you don't own a cat,,, the cat owns you !!! good luck with your new kitty!

no just a sign of affection for a kitten to show , if you don't appreciate it move him when he does this he/she isn't meaning to hurt you, but kittens don't realize what they are doing hurts you
