I just adopted two 10 week old sister kittens. They are both litter trained one of them keeps going #2 on the floor in one spot of the house. I tried using boundry but then she went somewhere else and did it. She uses the box most of the time but at least once everyother day she decided to poop in one location. I keep the box really clean and whenever she does it, and I find it, I bring her to the box. Its just not working and I don't know how else to train her to stop. Please help!!!1

Have you ever watched your cat and suddenly you saw something else or someone in a split second?

I have 4 cats & one cat bullies her & wont let her use the litter box. I'm moving to a new house in 1 mo. & have to get her retrained. I try to keep the bully cat away from her, but it never works. I put dog training pads on the floor for her & she goes on them mostly, but I need her to use the litter box. Any ideas! Thank You!

A female feral cat in my neighborhood looks like her ear has been tipped (cut 1/4 inch of her left ear) but she looks like she is pregnant too. Her stomach is out? Can there be a chance that her ear is not tipped or did I misread the situation. I felt her stomach and it is somewhat hard you can't press in too much. If she is pregnant I would like to trap & release her (TNR) but I don't want to do that if she is already neutered. I seen her in the summer and her left ear wasn't tipped. Any suggestions?

Has a shelter ever denied you adopting an animal? What was the reason? Did you think it was fair? I don't need a lecture-I am an approved adopter. I just am curious.

I have a kitten that is three months old, and two other cats, age 6 and 2. The two oldest love a little bit of catnip, but I don't know if it is safe to give a kitten. Also, what is the best age to have the kitten neutered? My other cats were already fixed when I adopted them. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

One of my cats recently ran away. Now, the other one is REALLY clingy, follows me everywhere and will look at me and "meow" real loud. Is this her way of missing our other cat? They were never close before...she hated it when we first got him but after 3 years she sort of "put up" with him. Now this behavior since he's been gone. Can anyone please tell me what's going on? I'd sure appreciate it."

My cat knocked down a bottle of liquid foundation and it broke and spilled on the floor. Luckily he didn't hurt himself. He is black and white and the white part of his chest is now the color of my face. I tried washing it off, but although it doesn't feel like there is make up on his fur, it is still discolored. Any suggestions on how to get it off?

She is about a year old...and it doesn't happen everytime she eats, but she has been doing it off and on since we got her at about 3 months old.

The food (dry food) comes out looking basically the same way as it went in. She is gaining weight in what I would consider healthy.

We got her from the shelter and were advised that she had been found in an abandoned apartment and they suspected that she had been there for almost a month. She had eated a budgie that had also been abandoned.

We always chalked the vomiting up to her having been without food for that time, that when she ate, she would eat far beyond her hunger and assumed that she would grow out of it. She has not.

Any other suggestions as to why?? We took her for her initial vet visit when we got her and the vet agreed with our theroy...but I assumed it would be over by now...

It was just a small knot to begin with, but it has been growing over the past year or so. Now it is about the size of a marble and it looks like a bluberry and has started leaking blood or something. My dad says to pop it and drain it, but I'm worried about it hurting and getting infected. We can't afford to take her to a vet, does anyone have any advice on what to do?

we feel really gutted about the decision, we can adopt an older cat, yet we were searching for something that will grow with the family. We have checked local adverts and there are none available... as much as i could get an older as a substitute, we really wanted a young cat. We feel that the cattery is treating us unfairly, after all most cats are timid, until they get to know you... why is it ok for them to see a kitten go to a person who will be in work all day, than to a family who will give the kitten the love it needs?

She is about 4 yrs old and very loving but has just recently started jumping on the kitchen counter and of course we are not happy with her when she does. I might be answering this myself but we have gotten another kitten about 2 mos ago which she is just now starting to let get some what close to her. What do you think and are there any ways of breaking this problem. It has happenes about 3 times in the last 3 weeks. Thanks!!
