My cat is losing his hair and has sores and scabs all over him.
When I pet him I feel all kinds of scabs. And see bald spots.
He's not even old. he isnt even two yet. I don't know if its fleas or what? What else could this be? I don't want nothing bad to happen to my kitty. =(

Hi there...there are several possibilities your kitty may have: Feline Miliary Dermatitis (eczema) or Notoedric mange. Both which needs to be treated medically.
Some cats are also known to lick or bite themselves due to allergies to food or as a result of stress called psychogenic dermatitis. Fleas can contribute to causing scabbing as well.
[edit] since you mentioned fleas are evident, I would lean more towards this as the most likely cause and purchase either Frontline, Revolution, or Advantage to treat the cat first and then home with flea foggers or boric acid.
You can purchase flea treatsments from either your vet or 1-800-Pet Meds: http://www.1800petmeds.com/cat.asp?LV=10

See a vet, but my guess is his skin is dry, that happened to my cat and I was told by my vet to put a few drops DROPS (I enphisze drops cause too much will give it the runs) of Miniral Oil, and you can get that pretty much anywhere...Jus put it in his kitty food...and you should see a diffrence in a few days if this is the case. If you bath it, dont for awhile. Also, it may be his kitty litter, have you changed brands? Or maybe his food if youve switched brands on that. I hope this helps!

normally when an animal is losing there hair they are 'stressed', but maybe you should take him/her to the vets and theyll run blood work on kitty and then youll know whats wrong maybe kitty has a bacterial infection or something of the sort? Try the vet hun.
kitty may even need steroids I dont know. Your best bet is the vet

It could be as simple as an allergy to fleas. Black cats are prone to allergies such as this (though you don't mention what color yours is).
If you get rid of the fleas and the hair and skin get better, that's what it was.
But yeah, you need to get it to the vet and see if it's anything worse.

It could be Mange(could be spelled wrong) it is very contageous. I had a friend whose dog had the same problem, he toke him to the vet and the vet said that's what was wrong with him. I know if it's not treated it can kill them. His dog did die, but they weren't sure it was from the Mange. Take your kitty to the vet ASAP. Hope this helps.

sounds like an allergic reaction to flea bites. Fleas will bite you, too, so best to bomb the house and get the cat some Advantage.

I have a Siamese that gets random missing spots of fur, usually around his neck and on his face. We think it is an allergy and he pulls his fur out. He seems to get better when we put him on a antihistamine and steroids. Although my vet is not completely convinced that this is the cause. She thinks he has a nervous condition that makes him pull his fur out. He is a bit neurotic, but sweet!.

He needs to see a vet ASAP. He may have mange. It causes alot of those symptoms but can only be tested for by the vet. He'll get medication and be fine
