My cat knocked down a bottle of liquid foundation and it broke and spilled on the floor. Luckily he didn't hurt himself. He is black and white and the white part of his chest is now the color of my face. I tried washing it off, but although it doesn't feel like there is make up on his fur, it is still discolored. Any suggestions on how to get it off?

lol you can call your kitty coverkitty....try some pet wipes, giving him a bath in a kitty shampoo, preferably oatmeal based or just wash his chest in some PLAIN dawn dishtergent, or you can let your kitty clean himself. it might take time, b/c his fur might be stained...good luck

Poor kitty! I'm sure he will be able to get it off by himself. Black and white cats are the best, by the way!

Antibacterial Dawn dishwashing liquid. Make sure your water is warm, rub dawn on wet hair, as if to shampoo. It will also kill any mites, fleas, etc., which I am sure your cat doesn't have, but it is a bit of useful information. It will not harm your cat, it is a very gentle cleanser.

My cat got a hold of my foundation application sponge once. I just wiped off what I could, but it had already dyed her fur. She eventually cleaned it off herself.

He'll clean it off by himself. Make sure there isn't anything in the make up that could hurt him though.

He'll clean it off himself. It may have stained his fur, but he'll work at it till it's good again.
