I just adopted two 10 week old sister kittens. They are both litter trained one of them keeps going #2 on the floor in one spot of the house. I tried using boundry but then she went somewhere else and did it. She uses the box most of the time but at least once everyother day she decided to poop in one location. I keep the box really clean and whenever she does it, and I find it, I bring her to the box. Its just not working and I don't know how else to train her to stop. Please help!!!1

Hi Jennifer...sometimes it helps to confine the kittens to a smaller room in order to retrain them with their litter box habits. Some cats also prefer to use one litter box to urinate and another for defecating as well. If this continues even with two litter boxes there's a possibility a medical problem may be involved. Therefore it would be best to consider a visit to the vet to have it further evaluated.

If your cat keeps going #2 then that means that the cat probably dosen't like the litter. Or he might not like the smell of the litter. I am glad to answer your question because i have 2 cats

First, stick your cats face in the duke and say NO NO and put the cat in the litter box or outdoors.
Works fast, u got to show the kitty who is boss.

mine use to do that, i use to spray the spot with fly spray and it stoped straight away and went to the litter box also if you collect some #2 and put it in the box before you spray so the box has its smell in it o.k

Maybe your kittens need some more time outside.Or keep them in the garage until they get very well potty trained.

Its because it started doing #2 there and now it likes doing it there thats all so its nothing to worry about. You just have to give it a firm "No" when it does it thats all.
