Anybody no How long do Huskys live for?

2007-12-06 03:07:39 · 10 answers · asked by Anonymous in Dogs

The lump is on her chest by her right front leg and is marble sized. A friend said that his dog has a few of them and they are just scar tissue or fat that has built up. I was wondering if anyone else has any other ideas on what it might be minus the worst case I am thinking! She is 8 years old, so I am worried!

the cat will come into the bedroom late at night when I am up laying in my bed thinking about personal issues, and meows as he jumbs on my bed, and then lays on my chest to be petted and begins to purr. Do others have a similiar experience with their cats, that their cats seem to know when their owners need conforting themselves?

He came home and the poor thing was infested with fleas, I gave it a bath and got the majority of them. My worries are as follows...apparently the mother and the rest of the litter had pushed this puppy out, the mother even took a nice size chunk of skin off the poor things head. My boyfriend brought her home around 9:30 last night and she's been sleeping ever since, with the occasional grunt or if I disturb her to see if she's warm enough. At one point I picked her up (she was sleeping) and she peed and a little "log" fell out! It didn't seem to bother her! I don't have the money right now, but will next week to take her to vet and get her checked out. But, could it just be the stress of being the outcast and being in a new environment or maybe the reason for her being the outcast IS because the mom knew there was something wrong with her? She's a sweetheart and a real grunter, very cute markings!!
Any info would help, and should I wait until I know what's wrong before I give shots?

I've been away from home for four months for work and already, my Pitbull forgot who I am (Barking on me, non-stop). But my dachshund still remembers me (I guess). Cause she acted excited when I came home (unlike when she sees strangers, she barks like crazy).

My question again is how long does a dog's memory last? Does it depend on the breed? Or are there such characteristics as a dumb dog?

I just got to work and my coworker saw it first. Its so sad. I'm just wondering do I call animal control? Or sanitation? I feel like something should be done, especially if it was someones companion and possibly has the identity chip. Thanks in advance for any help!

He's been to 3 vets; his original vet, the emergency vet (catheter and IV fluids) and now a surgical specialist vet for the perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery. All three Dr's has said his BUN and Creatinine levels were abnormally high as well as his potassium level. They also said it's too soon to know if he has kidney failure. He's on Lasixs and Baytril as well as KD wet/dry food. Today before the surgery dr. had re-tested his levels and said it has lowered but not normal and will proceed with the surgery. Would like to know if anyone has been through this similar situation. My cat is 5 yrs old and is 19lbs.

I've already gotten clawed up bad, put it in her food and she ate around it, If I desolve it in a little water then add it to her food she'll have to eat it or starve. Unless I can crush it also?

Smelly dog, smelly dog....what are they feeding yoooooou! (sorry, couldnt resist!)

Anyway, can the liver treats I give my dog be causing him to smell?? his crate stinks and even when i bathe him, after a day or a night in the crate he is back to funking up the whole apt! I cant bathe him everyday, and the scent sprays just mask odors. My boyfriend SWEARS its the treats cause he hates the smell of them out of the package. But Caesar loves em! Should I find treats that are not liver based on the smell?

I have my betta for a year now and just recently I have been having troubles keeping his water about 74For higher. He is in a 1 gallon tank with a hood light, filter and submersible heater for a 2 gallon tank.
I thought it was the heater so I bought a new one and the water still isn't getting warm the water temp remains 71-73F. PLEASE HELP! I never had this problem last year in the winter? What can I do to get the water around normal with out spending a whole lot of money?

P.S I will not put him in a tank larger than 2 gallons because seriously he is a fish he doesn't need a huge 5 gallon tank. At least he is not in a little dinky fish bowl.

It all started when my cat vomited these worms, supposedly roundworms, which we are going to give treatment to really, really soon. A few days after that cat vomited, one of my other cat kept on vomiting, too. Now, 4 of my other cats have vomited, too. And sometimes it would be yellow (It didn't look like foam)... Does anyone know why my cats are doing this?

I just got satellite TV and Animal Planet, so I am watching various animal rescue programs. :)

My question is to those who have pets of their own and foster pets waiting for a new home. How does the frequent introduction of a non-permanent new pet influence the exsisting household balance? Is it something your pets get used to or do you go through the same transition periods that all regular pet owners experience 99% of the time when introducing a new pet? And how do the household pets react once the foster pet has left for its new home?

My daughter has 2 Golden Retriever puppies (6 months). It is 10 degrees out. How long can they safely stay outside? They LOVE it in their fenced in yard but I don't want any harm to come to them from the cold.
