Thats common.. Just give some time for the water cycle to set in and it will be all clear.. You already know about the overfeeding which is another cause.
Dont worry. It will clear out soon.

in the beginning, your tank is merely too small for 4 betta's. you would be wanting a minimum of a 20-25g tank for a sorority of four to 5. Secondly, I have not got any concept what's incorrect, considering the fact which you haven't any longer given me anymore info different than the size of the tank and the fish you're retaining. Did you cycle the tank? while did you introduce the fish to the tank? How long has it been set up? often cloudy water is common with new tanks, because it shows a micro organism bloom - no longer continually a bad ingredient, using fact all tanks % micro organism to become completely primary. Your water could additionally be cloudy in the experience that your ammonia and nitrite stages are way too severe (something above 0ppm is merely too severe, besides), so i could advise finding out your water (employing a liquid water finding out equipment, ideally from API, instead of plastic strips) and appearing a partial water substitute if mandatory. How plenty water do you alter once you sparkling your tank, and how commonly do you do it? a stable handbook is to substitute 25% of your tank's water each and every week. in case you eliminate greater desirable than 50% at a time, you're removing the advantageous micro organism, this is why you may in no way substitute all or greater desirable than 0.5 at as quickly as, except your tank is contaminated with something. yet another consumer-friendly reason ought to be overfeeding. examine to confirm once you're overfeeding your fish - save in mind that a betta's abdomen is the size of their eye! - and fix that in case you may. i could somewhat advise upgrading, or returning 3 of the fish.

It's common. It will clear up. Trust me. I've had fish all my life.
Its a fluctuation in the nitrogen cycle and release of gasses. If it doesnt in a couple days, try changing 25% of the water to restart the cycle =)

It's a bacteria bloom, too small to filter out,it will go away in a few weeks, and won't hurt anything in the meantime. Just continue doing your weekly water changes and be patient.
