Did the veterinarian take an xray, maybe something is broken. She can also see the size of the organs, or possible obstructions w/ xrays. That may be your next step since the blood work came back OK.

You could always go for a second opinion. The vet should do more than blood work since there are some things that can be wrong that won't necessarily show up on bloodwork. I wish that I had more answers for you, but my advice would be go to another vet with more cat experience if you think that the vet isn't knowledgable or doing enough. Good luck!

I would question a UTI infection, have a X-Ray or ultrasound done (tumor), it's hard to say blood work will only let us know so much. Make sure the tell the vet what your cats eats, drinks, BM's and urinates how much and how often. Is the animal sleeping more, hiding, more restless, or even could have hurt it's back. A lot is possible but I hope this helps. ( UTI is urinary track infection, BM bowel movement) Make sure to have them check the kitty's temp. and to make note if u think you pet have lost or gained weight. Any diarrhea or vomiting?

This sounds like what happened to my cat. She cried when picked up and was very weak and tired. The vet couldn't figure it out. One day I decided to look in her mouth and found that she had string wrapped around her tongue going down her throat. Half the string was in her stomach and intestines while the other half was stuck around her tongue being slowly pulled on by the digestive process causing her to be in pain. We managed to save her then but she died about 3 months later of cat leukemia. Hope you find the problem.

Bloodwork shows how the organs are working but it won't tell about tumors or cancerous growths, or broken bones.
An X-ray would locate the bones and possibly tumors. But it won't find all cancer--we just lost one of ours this past Tuesday to a mystery problem, which turned out to be a 3" cancer growing under her pelvic bone. It didn't show up on the X-ray, it was found post mortum.
Ask your vet about bone damage and tumors.

Go to another vet. Some vets are no good and some are better at some things than others.

Did you recently take your cat to the vet or to get grooomed before he got sick? I took my dog to the vet a week ago and she isnt the same anymore. they traumatized her. she wont go to the bathroom anymore and when we put her in the garrage to sleep, she cries and we have to let her out.

Go to another vet with better equipment. SOON. They should do an ultrasound to check for intestinal blockages or whatever else. Hurry though.
