Sam is a lovable dog, but we feel he may be in a depressed state. My sister just married and moved out and my mom and I are in and out the house alot. He is here alone maybe 8 hours per day while we work. We do play with him daily and he goes for walks each day. I'm just concerned one day he'll eat the wrong thing from the trash and taking the trash out every day before we leave can be a costly solution.

I got a kitten 2 months ago .At first she would not even come out to eat and now she will eat out of our hands and sleep on my bed but she will still not allow us to pet her.Now she has started peeing on my husbands side of the bed.Any clue how to get us to let us pet her and why she would start the peeing thing?

My puppy is a german shep/lab mix. that is 5 months old.
She has a crate that she LOVES to go in. I take her out to go to the bathroom every time i take her out of it, play with her, feed her, and right before we go to sleep. She will pee outside right when i take her out but she refuses to poop out there. We scrubbed our carpet so there is no smell of pee or poop but she literally will wait until she gets inside. We do not rub her nose in it, but when we catch her in the act, we stop her and take her to the proper area outside. She will hold it in during our walks then go in the house and do her business. We really dont know what to do about it. any suggestions would be very helpful! thank you!

I love my little shitzu very, very much. And people in my bfs family are saying that I should get her fixed, cause her additude might change and she might turn mean. But I feel that she might want puppies later on in life. Who am I to decide if she'll have puppies or not. Dogs have feelings too...

The seller basically gives you a dose for large cats or dogs and then tells you how much you actually need for a dose for your smaller dog or cat. They sell you the dose for the larger breed, a syringe and a glass vial for the remaining product. They give instructions on how much to use for each dose. Has anyone used these before? Are they reliable/safe?

I need to put a paw print of each of my dogs on a piece of material...bedsheet type fabric. What can I use that will make the print look nice and will not be harmful to the dogs paw or harmful if they happen to lick a bit up?

Also, whatever you recommend I use, what would be the best way to clean their paw after use? Soap/water, baby wipe, etc...?

I have a 3 year old dog that is half great dane and half bullmastif. She is a short haired dog so I expected her not to shed a lot. But, especially in the last week or two I've noticed her shedding so much!!! She is s housedog by the way too. It is driving me crazy. Is there something that causes this, or something I can do??? I have a new neighbor and she has a dog. Well the dog barks as soon as she walks out the door and doesn't stop barking and scratching the door until she comes back. I have talk to my landlord about this but I know he is having a affair with her so him doing something about it just won't work. I am trying to breed my femal blue heeler. I brought the male to her yard. He has been here since last night and it is the next day in the afternoon and I still havent noticed anything happening.So far i waited 10 days while she was bleeding and she stopped yesterday. She stands in front of him like she wants to but when male trys to approach she growls and snaps. Is this normal?I am just wondering how long it may take for breeding to start and how long I should keep male?

i have a tropical aquarium with neon tetra,female platies,guppys, cory catfish(peppered), algae eating shrimp,american flag fish, white cloud minnows, golded cloud minnows, my neon tetras caught ich and about 3-6 have died of it now i have been using anti ich chemicals and it started to work, the white spots dropped in frequency, but now since its been almost completely killed of the tetras, its hopped all over the platies!!! how can i rid my aquarium of this parasite.

I woke up this morning and my dogs eye had a lot of discharge coming out of it. It was all goopy around his eye, and it's still coming out. Not a lot, but little bits at a time. His eye looks a little red as well, could he have pink eye? Anyone know any treatments?
