Here's a link to show what I'm talking about: http://cgi.ebay.com/FRONTLINE-PLUS-CAT-KITS-8-MONTHS_W0QQitemZ290187260778QQihZ019QQcategoryZ20738QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

The seller basically gives you a dose for large cats or dogs and then tells you how much you actually need for a dose for your smaller dog or cat. They sell you the dose for the larger breed, a syringe and a glass vial for the remaining product. They give instructions on how much to use for each dose. Has anyone used these before? Are they reliable/safe?

i buy frontline on line all the time on ebay. i get it at a great price. i have never had a problem with it. it usually comes from australia or somewhere. if you do find some on there tho...read the fine print. make sure it is new...in package...and not expired. if you do find someone that has a good deal and you buy from them...keep their web address and order from them next time also.,,,,Just buy the large 88-132 lbs and you can split it as follows.......cats.....5ml
puppys up to 22 lbs...7ml
23 to 44 lbs.............1.34ml
45 to 88 lbs.............2.7ml
89 to 132 lbs........4 ml (whole pk)
hope this helps.

You can do the SAME things by buying Large Dog Advantage and splitting it up in smaller doses. The large dog is 4.0ml per tube. Cats get .4ml of the are under 9 pounds, and .8ml if they are over 9 pounds.

Frontline is the same way, just cannot tell you the dosages sine I use Advantage. We do it this way at our shelter to save a lot of money. You actually pay MORE for the cat stuff when it is packaged in small cat tubes. It is all the same OCNCENTRATION, just different amounts in the tube.

Personally, I would not want someone else selling me opened product. I would rather do it myself.

ive seen them on ebay as well. they give you a large dose (such as one for a 180 pound dog for example) and they give you measurments on howe much to give your dog.. but be careful with that. i woul never buy a frontline product from ebay again, i bought 2 packages for a dog weighing 50-88 lbs, and i was reading the back of it, they misspelled "merial" and made mistakes in the spelling on the package, Plus there was only HALF of the phone number, there was NO last 2 digits! so that told me that it was a fraud! i couldnt get my money back! just becareful!!. good luck

The seller seems to be ok, she has good feedback and alot of transactions, however I personally would not buy this type of flea medication off of ebay because it just seems like too much of a hassle and I would be afraid of doing it wrong.

My mom used to always buy her dogs flea medicine off of ebay but they were the boxes of single use bottles and she always got a good deal.
