I have a 3 year old dog that is half great dane and half bullmastif. She is a short haired dog so I expected her not to shed a lot. But, especially in the last week or two I've noticed her shedding so much!!! She is s housedog by the way too. It is driving me crazy. Is there something that causes this, or something I can do??? I'm new to the whole house dog thing. Any help would be great!! Thanks

I am having the same problem right now its a cold time of year and even short haired dogs get a thicker coat in the winter which means a bit of extra shedding. Its nothing to worry about i would just avoid wearing black clothes lol

Change it's diet, could be that the food you are giving the dog is making the dog shed more then usual.

Just so you know short coated dogs shed more than long coated don't expect the dog not to shed even though it's of short coat.

This is something dogs do withthe weather hcange.
I know you say yyou brush her but using what type of brush??
A curry brush works best and also if you bath your dog and ten blow dry it while brushing againt the hair it will help remove a lot of the dead hair. or you may want to take to the groomer for this.

Um... I would give her a bath. Brush her frequently, and maybe get some none shedding shampoo from pet co/ pets mart. If it's still happing call your local vet and or just sit back and let the fur fly.
