It is a small blood profile that usually checks for organ function such as kidney and liver values, and blood glucose levels. I don't know what you mean by "reaction".

Yeah, this is bloodwork. Reaction? The dog won't have a reaction. This is a good test. It should tell you quite a bit. I like to know how my dogs' liver and kidneys are doing.

That sounds like a blood panel that will test for organ functions.
Different labs/vets have different names for it. Chem panel,Chem screen,Sun Screen, Metabolic panel.......the list goes on and on.
