I just put 2 drops of those k-9 advantix on my dog's neck, and it looks like I have give him another bath again tonight since he's so irritated by it. Will the flea med still work if I give him a bath today, or should I wait until tomorrow??

Which made me want to vomit all over my comnputer, Ive decided that when we adopt our puppy we will not be feeding him or her garbage dog foods....

I wanted to know what are healthy recipes for dogs? Do you make your own healthy foods, or go to a place that *SINCERLEY* IS healthy, not dead animals ground up and whatever other garbage they have decided to toss in

Any help would be appreciated.

My sister-in-law almost stepped on a snake in our front yard and freaked out and killed it. I'm wondering if anyone knows the name of the snake and if it is poisonous. We live in Tucson, AZ. Here are links to the pictures, copy and paste:

There are about 12 cats in my neighborhood. Half of them are still kittens. When I see a cats/kittens, they keep running off to stranger's backyards. How do I keep them from doing that and just think of me as a good person, not a bad one? Please, I need help! Also, can I take one of the cats/kittens home too if they just got used to me or just let them feel be and try to earn more of their trust until the next time?

We have to board them for a trip and we can't find the paperwork that the boarding place needs... it wasn't a vet office that gave them... it was one of those low-cost pet store clinics... not sure if they even keep paperwork... so I want to get their shots again to qualify them for boarding. Is it harmful?

i got a black lab puppy she only 3 months old and she wont stop biting me, my older black lab,and my cats but she leaves my mom and my sister alone....but with me its getting rediculous im full cuts and wounds all on my arms and legs, and no matter how much i yell, or how much i hit her on the nose/ hold her mouth closed, or put her in the kennel she keeps biting me all the time and the only time i can do anything in my house is when shes asleep....i have no idea what to do ive tried everything people have told me but she wont leave me alone, and i cant even pick her up to get her away from me because when i pick her up she turns and bites my shoulders or my chest, its getting bad now someone, i really feel like she hates me, please help!

my dog is pregnant (sp?) for the first time and she already lost her mucus plug. my parents are at work and when i got home from school today she was in my closet panting heavily and shivering and in between the heavily panting she grunts and then starts panting and shivering again. the closest vet is over an hour away and my parents wont get home for another 3 hours. what do i do?? is she gonna have her puppies soon? please help me!!!!! oh yeah, my dog is a golden retriever/german shepherd mix but is the runt so is small and the dad is a weimaraner (large dog) could the puppies be too big for her to have? will she die if they are? please please please help me!!!!!!

I guess I've been closed minded when it comes to cats, thinking that they only eat cat food that consist of compounds that are from tuna and stuff.

However, I saw a cat kill, and ate a bird. In its entirety!

First off, how did the cat eat the bird without choking?
Two, can someone tell me is it natural that I just saw a cat eat a bird?

It was in a video on youtube that I saw it, it wasn't in person or anything. You can watch it if you like.

I'm going crazy. My Chihuahua is 10/11 weeks old. I've had her since she was 6 weeks old. I also have another dog that she loves and they are best of friends. I have been trying to potty train this chi since I got her. I take her out every 20 mins or so, after every meal, after she wakes, during the middle of the night... ALL the time. She goes outside and potties every time. Problem is, she doesn't 'get it.' I'll put her down or get her out of her kennel (she's in there when I can't watch her constantly and not for long periods at all) and she'll actually sqaut, pee, stare right at me, wag her tail and then head for the door to go out. She pee's on my bed, in her kennel, on my duaghters bed, on the couch.. it's driving me mad! She pee's everytime she goes out... but she will pee a few drops and save the rest for all over the house I guess. dunno what to dooooooooo! I'm forever outside with her... tell her good girl and give her treats... any advice? ~~tired of pee n poop~~

I am on the student council at my school and i am trying to make the school better for the enviroment. One of my ideas is putting up nest boxes in some of our trees. The school is in central Ohio and our trees include some soft bristle pines and some other decidous trees. I was wondering what kind of birds we should be able to attract, how to attract them, and how to make sure that we buy good quality nest boxes that will be easy to clean and stand up to weather, as well as be good for the birds too of course. I also need to know how far to space them apart so that i know they will all be used. please answer, the next student council meeting is coming up and i we dont have them very often so i need to be ready with ideas and facts etc. Thank you in advance for the help. My family is in town and they brought there yorkie male dog, My dog just so happened to be in heat, also a yorkie, my wife picked them up from the air port before i got home, she didn't have a clue that there dog was a male or that it was neutered. I came home and they were together, i knew it was a boy, so i immediately checked to see if his penis was swollen, witch it was, very swollen but only at the top, like it looked like a marble was in it.


I'm pretty sure i just wanted to check though, The male dogs penis only swells if they tie together and its inserted into the females vagina, correct?


My dog (coco) is 2 years old, there dog is 2 1/2 (simba) My wife and i wanted her to have a liter of puppies, but not yet, but i will certainly let her have them, i would do something so cruel as to spay her when shes pregnant.


But if you can answer my question up there (if the male dogs penis only swells when they tie together) that would be alot of help, it would help me alot

i have a 5-10 gallon air pump that i want to use for a sponge filter for a 1-2.5 gallon. How do i decrease the power? I want to use it for a betta so they dont like much movement. And yes i want to provide it with some sort of filteration.

I drive a friend of mine to work mon-fri and I have been feeding a stray cat (sweet as can be) I drive 18 miles just to get to her house...then another 5 to get to work...I noticed today that the cat is pregnant and I dont want her to have the babies in that area (bad area) but I am willing to catch her and bring her to my vet to have her checked out ( I am wary of bringing her in because of my own cats until im sure she doesnt have any diseases) I can pick her up sat or sun in the morning but what do I do once I get her home when the vets arent open until monday Im too scared to bring her home until Im sure she is ok and she only comes out in the mornings for me to feed her I never see her in the afternoon when I drop my friend off...Im so worried about her she is so sweet...Help Please!!!

Ok I have a 3 1/2 month old Pomeranian/Maltese mix, and after she poops she turns around and eats it? My Chi, was fully house broke, but here lately has decided to start pooping inside, and my Pom/Maltese runs over there before I can get something to pick it up she will eat it?! I've asked this question before on why dogs do this, and some say it was because she wasn't getting the right nutrients... Since that I've switched her dog food to Bil Jac, and she is still doing this! What else could it be? If it is a nutrient that she's needing what would the nutrient be?
