My son bought one the other day, and we have checked out a few sights, but my question is this.
We have been putting the dead bugs in the tank and he wont eat them, so we tried banana baby food, and he is eating off a spoon.
How do I know if he is full, as I dont want to overfeed him.
How hearty of a lizard is an anole, ( life span, etc. ) for a novice?
We put him in a larger tank, put in some sticks, a bridge, and put gravel in ( darker on one end). My son has handled him daily per the advice of the person who sold him to us.
Any other advice or suggestions would be really appreciated.
Also, this may sound weird, but I dont think the Anole likes me. He puffs out his throat, gets excitable, and has litterally lunged at me from his tank. Is that normal?

There is this pet store in my county that has the widest selection of animals in it...i go in there and ALL the animals are disgusting and dirty and not well kept at ALL. I look down and there is a cherry headed conure named *Paco* in a dog crate with ONE toy that has debre ALL other it, nasty food nasty EVERYTHING.. i asked the owner to talk it out & he was horribly mean.. buttt to make a long story short i rescued him.

i bought him his own california santa barbara cage with a playtop many MANY toys, top of the line food..EVERYTHING.

iv had him for a little less then a year but i have gotten so attached. he only trusts ME.. noone can touch him but ME..I am the only person that matters in his world.

but as of two weeks ago he has started to lunge and bite me. for no reason. i havnt changed any routine.

im thinking about giving him up, i dont know what i can do. it breaks my heart that hes acting this way.

what should i do? can a troubled parrot ever let go of the past?

His eyes have discharge that comes and goes, as well as congestion. He has been on and off antibiotics for the past two and a half months, but it doesn't seem to help his symptoms.

My dad sometimes spanks his pups if they make a mess. I find it really disturbing I try telling him but never listens to me. And I don't think the pups even know why he is spanking them. How do I make him stop?

I have a 2.5 gallon aquarium. My fish has lived in it for about a day and a half and seems really healthy (and ornery :D). I have the filter my aqarium came with installed in the back corner. The top of my water is oily, and the surface water is swirling Where the filter is putting the water out. Should I lower the level of my water just a little so the water actually falls into the aquarium? Would that help the surface and the stillness of my water? I think my betta is trying to blow a bubble nest because there was a small pile of bubbles, but it was swirling around due to the pump. i've got the pump on the lowest settings. I dont really know what is causing the oily stuff because I checked the water, and it doesn't have any ammonia or nitrite or unsafe levels of nitrate. Please help

his been home with me for 3 days now and he seems to be getting sick. the water temp is at 24-26c. his fins appear to be clamped together and his lethargic. yesterday he was eating fine but now he wont eat. also this morning he was floating at the top but now his at the bottom of the tank. i have changed the water and it has conditioner in it. i thought it could be constipation since i havnt seen him poop yet and tried giving him a pea but he didn't seem interested. i don't want him to die on me since his my first Betta and iv been waiting for days to get him. i don't know what to do.
he looks a bit like the fish in this site.

We have been battling ringworm on my cat for about 7 months. Sometimes he goes 2 months with none. He has taken fulvicin and had antifungal baths. I have bleached what I can in my house. I am not throwing out my new furniture or my carpet. I tried cleaning the rugs- even adding a little bleach. I am pregnant and if we don't get rid of it soon my husband says the cat has to go. (We don't want our baby getting it) But who can I get to adopt a cat with ringworm. I need help. What else can I do?

I was told between 7-8 with meal worms every other day. But if I put eight crickets in her tank, even if she is not hungry will she eat all of them? Because I don't want her getting sick. Or in other words does she know when she's full or will she keep eating because they are all there?

They say a full grown female chameleon gets up to 14 in. and males up to 24 in. Do they mean the measurement from the tip of the tail all the way to the nose? Or, just the length of it's body? And how old is a Chameleon when it is considered full grown?

I was just wondering if anyone else had a dog that does this and knows what it is. Anywho, this is what my 3 year old pomeranian does. When he gets really excited, he starts to have an "asthma attack" He wheezes uncontrollably for a minute or more. After a while, he's ok and continues what he was doing, but sometimes the attacks last for five minutes. I was wondering if anyone knew the cause, what it's called, and had a dog that does this. Thanks! Please no rude comments!!

According to my vet, corn ingredient in dog food has also benefits for dogs and also wheat and soy. I tried Purina hipro to my choco lab since 8months old until now 1.5yrs old but he did well and it makes him hyper with that 27% protein and 15% fat.

I live in the country and on some property nearby there is a disused swimming pool that is filled with dead animals that fall in and drown.
The owner refuses to cover it or fill it in and won't put up a fence either.

He will allow me to put somthing in that will help them get out but I am completely at a loss for how to build something that will work for creatures as small as frogs and large as deer. I can't tell how deep the water is as it's all disgustingly gooey with dead things.

Any ideas gratefully appreciated as I am worried sick about pets and children in the area.

And yes, I have already notified every authority and there is no one who can force him to fix the problem.

I was told that the best time is about ten days after bleeding starts but my husband tried to take her to the male dog the very next day and then 4 days after that, she won't accept the male yet, all she does is play with him and when he sniffs her she pushes him back or if he tries to mount she will just sit down. Call any one please help me with a few very exact answers. I've taken her to the Vet and had all her test done and she has all her papers and when examined she was announced as an excellent dog to breed. I was planning on spaying her at first but even the Vet said to us that if we decided to breed her it would be the perfect time. I'm planning on keeping 2 of her puppies myself, not to breed on but just as pets for my family and me. Please I really would appreciate any help. Thanks!!
