Ditto to Venice Girl
How cruel you keeping 2 goldfish in a bowl ?!?!?!
Each one of them needs at LEAST a 10 gallon, so that means you will need at least a 20 gallon tank

As for any fish in a bowl???????
Absolutely none, not even a betta is happy in there and should be put in an at least 2.5 gallon tank with filter, heater and a live plant

In my opinion, these bowls should be forbidden!!!!!!!

The only thing you could put in there are shrimps or raise triops in there

Best Fish For Fish Bowl

Actually no fish is good for a "bowl" Goldfish or Bettas really shouldn't be in bowls. Do some research if you're seriously thinking about keeping fish and find out exactly why tanks with filters are recommend over bowls.

A betta, as everyone will tell you, is the best fish for a bowl. However, it would do better in a filtered tank. But it can live fine in a bowl. I would suggest a bowl that is 1 gallon or larger. And make sure to clean the bowl 1-2 times a week.

Bettas are good fishies to have as pets mainly because they tend to live a lot longer than a typical gold fish. The only down side is the males have to be put into separate bowls because they are territorial and will actually fight each other until one or both are dead; hence the name "Chinese fighting fish." The females, on the other hand, are much less cumbersome and I believe can be put into the same tank. They are, however, not as pretty to look at as the males due to the fact that their tail fins are short and stubby whereas the males are the ones with the long flowing tails and pretty colors. If you are unsure I would suggest asking a local pet store rep. they would be more knowledgeable about it.

I say Betta Fish are the best for a fish bowl, but a 2.5 gallon tank would be better. I say no fish should be kept in a fish bowl. How would you like to be in a fish bowl your whole life? I say you should invest you money in a nice 2.5 gallon tank. And as for you goldfish I suggest you get a 10 gallon or more tank for them. They can grow up to be about 24 inches or more!

I wouldn't add any fish to a fish bowl but if you had to, bettas would work fine in a large fish bowl. The gold fish are really not a good fish to put into a bowl. You are doing them no good. Goldfish take more care than realized and they need good, stable water quality just like anyother fish deserves.

goldfish are the worest thing for a bowl.

if your asking what else you can add then nothing,

if your asking about another bowl, then a betta is fine for a bowl. They dont need a filter as long as you change the water weekly.

The problem is goldfish will get massive, feeder goldfish are comets and common goldfish, these will get well over 24 inches.

While fancy goldfish will grow smaller, they will still need a 55 gallon or 2.

The problem is shear size and the fact that goldfish are reallymessy fish, you will need a good filter system for the the goldfish.

Look into getting a tank ASAP.

When the golfish are gone, you can get a betta which will be fine in a bowl.
