you can worm puppies from about 2 weeks of age and then every 2weeks until 12 weeks old and every three months after that. The first vaccination should take place at about eight to nine weeks old. The mother will feed them until they are about four or five weeks old, but you can start to introduce the pups to solid food at about three weeks old, do make sure that it is a good quality food to give them the best start in life. GOOD LUCK

They need to have their first vaccinations when they are 8 weeks old..At that time they should get distemper/parvo/canine hepatitis/adenovirus-2..These are the only vaccinations recommended for EVERY dog/puppy.

Unless they are at a very high risk of exposure to lepto, lymes, parainfluenza and bordatella (kennel cough) they will not need these. These vaccinations are NO longer recommended for every dog/puppy.

Do NOT give coronavirus, adenovirus-1 or giardia vaccinations. These are NOT recommended for ANY dog/puppy ever.
The above recommendation is from the AAHA/AVMA and ALL 27 vet schools.
You can find out more on Dr. Jean Dodds or Dr. Ron Schultz sites and also there is a great article on vaccinating in the Whole Dog Journal November 2006 issue.

Puppies should be dewormed with a vet approved dewormer at 2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks of age right along with mom.

Most puppies will start sampling solid foods from 3 1/2 to 4 weeks of age and will be pretty much eating by the time they are 6-7 weeks if not before.

Mom and pups wormed at 2,4,6,8 and 10 weeks. Vaccines at 7-8 weeks. Can start softened food at 3-4 weeks.

8 weeks. Call the vet and set up an appointment. They'll tell you to bring a stool sample to check for worms and how badly it is.

You can actually ween them off of the mother at an early stage. Just mix milk with regular dry puppy chow, and nuke it for thirty seconds, let it cool off a bit, mash it up, and start the puppies on that.
