i have put a new goldfish in my tank where i only had one. the original is chasing his new arrival round the tank biting him!!!!! what should i do????

My kitty is sitting on my lap right now, laying on his back. I just rubbed 'his' belly, the cat is out. But I just came across what appear to be little nipples on 'his' tummy. Do boy cats get nips too, or was the guy who gave 'him' to me a moron and 'he' is really a she?

A stray cat has been coming around our house and just the other day got in and had kittens. She had 4 , 2 black , 1 striped and 1 black and white. Well yesterday I kinda noticed the black and white one like near the butt of the mom just laying there. Then this morning my dad woke me up to tell me to go check on the kittens. The black and white one was in the corner by itself just laying there. So we gave him drops of water and tried to put him on a niple and he wouldnt go on it, he would just want to lay there. So I checked on him a few mins ago and he was the corner died. He was really stiff and we tried giving him more water but it didnt work. What I want to know is how it died? I know the mother has fleas and I saw maybe 1 or 2 on the kittens. Can someone tell me a couple of reasons of why it might of died? Dont be mean please.

thanx alot to all of the people who suggested i read before buying clownfish now i now the ph which is 8 - 8.4temperature is 75 F - 80 F (24 C - 27 C) specific gravity is 1.020 - 1.024 they eat live food, frozen food, flake food, and salt requirements are 1.021 - 1.023 thanx again guys

You see I have privacy fence and so does the rest of my neighbors around our back yard so once he starts he goes to the corner of our yard and barks and I can't see what he is barking at. So I grab the squirt water bottle and seem to help but will it stop him for good from barking in the near future when he goes out there?

This morning my huge angelfish was just sitting on the bottom of the tank not moving. He looked dead so I poked him with the fish net. He started doing loops and floating on top of the water. I thought he was dying. Then he just started swimming normally and ate when I fed him. I'm at work now. Will he be dead when I get home or was he just asleep or something?

First dog is Smokey. I have is a Blue Pit bull, male, and I have a had a great experience with him. I got him at a puppy store in the mall. Smokey is 4 Months on August 4th.

Second dog is Diamond. She is a Black Labradore, female, and I got her so Smokey wouldn't be lonely. I got her from a neighbor that a had a liter from her two Black Labradores. Diamond will turn 4 months on August 23.

Third dog is King Cooper. He is a Jack Russel Terrier, male, and I Got him as an indoor dog. Got him a breeder in a farm. Cooper is a Champion breed dog. Cooper is 6 months

Fourth is (haven't thought of a name for her yet). She is a Pit bull, female, and I am getting a neighbor of mine who just had a litter 7/30/07. She is light brown with white.

And lets not forget my girlfriends dog Honey. I got Honey for my girlfriend For Valentines day. She was born January 30. She is a Chihuahua, and even though she is my girlfrineds I still feel she is partly mine because I treat her as my own as well.

My 9 year old cat won't drink anything. She hasnt been drinking from her water dish for weeks as far as i know. I keep changing her water and she still won't drink it. Today she walked up to it, looked at it, and walked away. So I got her some milk. my cat LOVES milk. She took one sip, sat down staring at it, then walked away. I'm worried that she isnt drinking anything and its 95 degress out. do you think shes ok?

I had to toxic fish that died 2 mandarin gobies that is and now having died the toxicans have killed our other fish how do I get that toxican out of my tank so I can start over fresh with new fish. Its a 72 gallon tank and now I have nothing.

I have been searching the internet all morning and love clown (tiger)plecostomus. I read up on them until I ran out of things I didn't know about them. I read that the smallest tank size is 10gallons(mine is 10.38). That they are easy to take care of(as in they just eat off the bottom of the tank). I also read that they reach a maximum size of 3-4 inches. The thing I didn't read is if they get along with the following fish: Peppered corydoras, australian rainbow, and otocinclus. I have all of those in my tank, and I really want the plecostomus so could I get one? I am also going to upgrade the plecostomus to a 15 or 20 gallon tank sometime in September. That way by the time it starts growing it will have more room. So would it be okay to purchase one in about 5 days?

dog fighting becoming a racial issue??? In my opinion the reason it has received so much publicity is because he is a football star not because he is black. It is so sad to me that this becoming racial and not staying focused on what happened to those poor babies. I don't understand.......

I have 3 fantail godfish inside the tank. Someone has told me that an air pump provides a better environment for the fish. The tank is situated in my room so the pump must be rather silent and not have that irritating humming noise. I can withstand the filter noise but anything worse drives me crazy!
What do you suggest?

I have read that if you punish a puppy by, say by hitting it with a newspaper, that it will only ruin your relationship with the puppy, however, my parents think that if you lighty tap it with a newspaper on the end of the nose it will make it mind. I do not want my puppy to be afraid of us though. Any thoughts on this would be helpful! Thanks!

I really think it should. We constantly hear about "bad daogs" and "bad breeds" but any dog whether it's a Pit Bull or a Chihuahua has the potential to be nasty if not trained. Of course the damage a Pit can do is much worse than a Chi, but I firmly believe there are very few bad dogs. Those that are bad it's usually a medical or genetic condition often caused by bad breeding, but there are many bad owners who just can;t be bothered to train their pets.

Your thoughts please.

Anyone had experience keeping them together? I was thinking of putting a small shoal of 4 rasboras as well as one male betta in a 5 gallon tank. The other option is a shoal of 4 white mountain cloud minnows. Any thoughts? Is this overstocking or would I be able to fit in a larger shoal to make them more comfortable?

I am male my cat is female --
I love my cat like any guy would love his pet ..I never gave her any kind of wrong impression...she is about 3 months old,,

she is always looking for 'nipple' on my body to suckle..and in doing so wets my shirt ....But lately she has focused her attention on my crotch area to suckle....

hmmm I dont know if she is innocent or if is she indirectly trying to tell me to get her a 'boyfriend' cat ...oh well I would appreciate some suggestions ..thanks !
