My 9 year old cat won't drink anything. She hasnt been drinking from her water dish for weeks as far as i know. I keep changing her water and she still won't drink it. Today she walked up to it, looked at it, and walked away. So I got her some milk. my cat LOVES milk. She took one sip, sat down staring at it, then walked away. I'm worried that she isnt drinking anything and its 95 degress out. do you think shes ok?

NO, she is not okay. These sound like the symptoms of a serious bladder infection. Don't waste your time with the amateurs here, get her to a vet NOW.

My Aunt used to leave the bath tub water on a very small but steady stream of water and her cats would stick their paws in the water and drink it.
Some cats like privacy
others don't.
My cat had thyroid problems and he had to be given water through a small eye dropper clean from the farmicy-I am not saying your kitten has thyroid problems but you could go ask your farmicy for an eye dropper-explain your situation though or they might think u r trying to steal.
ask for two. when u get home fill it half way depending on the size of the dropper. and slowly put the water in his/her mouth. USE COLD WATER!
well anyways-
Good luck!

Have you tried turning the bathroom tap on at a drip? Our cats will drink from their bowl, but they prefer it even fresher.
But if she truly is not drinking at all, then there is a problem. Meanwhile, don't give her cow's milk: That will give her diarrhea.
Good luck!

It may be numerous things ranging from just constipation, to obstruction of the intestines, to some metabolic disease involving the kidneys, etc. This is a situation requiring veterinary assistance. Because too many days without eating and drinking will lead to dehydration and cause many other problems other than what she already has. Please see your vet ASAP.

Sounds like she is having some sort of bladder issue. You should bring her into the vet asap. My friend's cat did the same thing, and his bladder ended up rupturing. Don't take that chance.

It sounds like your cat is sick. You may try moving the water away from near her food and don't put it near the cat box. If it is an outdoor cat she is probably getting water outside.

she is drinking, just not that you see. if it has been weeks since she had a drink, she would be dead. even after a few days she probably wouldn't make it. maybe she just doesn't like to be watched.
