our other cat was a stray cat that we have been feeding for about seven years now, we call him felix, he used to come to the back door rain or snow and wait to i left him out his food and then disapear again. we have patched him up,ears cut dropped flea drops on him, over the years but about two months ago he dissapeared for a week, when he turned up he was in a really bad way, cut to bits eye swollen skinny so we rushed him to the vets, a week later, £150 later, had to have his eye removed, had to keep in in our shed, or should i say cat pad. for a month to heal, he now lives with us and is a very very happy fat cat, thing is he now thinks he has to come indoors to use the litter tray to go to the loo, and then gos out on his mary way, whats happened our stray cat? we love him to bits now thou, and so happy he has decided to stay with all of us, two cats. two cocker spanials and the fish.

What does it mean when my parakeet walks back and forth quickly on his perch? He does this when I play piano for it and when I sing and sometimes talk to him.

i just got a new hamster for passing grade 7 with flying colours
hes a black bear hamster. he loves to play. he has a white patch on his belly ( obviously ) and he is very chittery ( like hes in shock right know) what should i name him and what should i do about how scared he is??

I bought two red ear slider turtles about a month ago. I clean their tank once a week, have a basking light and rock, keep feeder fish in there with them. I feed them a couple of times a day all of the recommended things I have read about. One of my turtles is doing great, it has almost doubled in size but the other turtle doesn't seem to be thriving. I haven't actually seen it eat in a day or two and it doesn't swim much. It did hurt it's beak about two weeks ago but that seems to be healing. I tried to find a vet to take it to but there aren't any in this area that will even attempt to mess with turtles. Anyone have any suggestions?

hi, I have 5 fish now, here is a pic of what they look like I mean by size, I had 2 other fish, but one died because he was too old, and the other one died because it had bladder problems..., so now I want to buy 2 more, but not sure if it's ok to do so...thanks!!!

I was out Picking up my dogs "business" and I noticed some maggots, or lil things moving around inside it. I know since it's waste those things can get into it anytime, but I was wondering, is it possible for my dog to have these before they were excreted out of his body?

I just got a Weiner Dog from my brother who kept food out all day for the dog. I know this is not proper feeding for a dog. Can anyone tell me the correct feeding schedule? The dog is a male, 1 year old, about 10 lbs.

Even 20 years ago it was acceptable to treat your dogs bits of chocs....and in those days it wasnt just the "essence and flavour of rich dark chocolate" it was real thing.
Unless your dog devours a pound of good chocolate, he is usually safe.
It's great to be concern about your dog, but this is hysteria.

Okay so I brought this little darling home from the pet store. And when I finally integrated her into the tank, I thought "wowsa! That's a pregnant fish!" Compard to my other sunburst Molly, she's big. So I bought a breeding contraption and got prepared, but it's been 3 weeks and she was seemingly huge to begin with and now I am starting to wonder.

Thought I would ask you all.

So, whatcha thinK??

Fat fish?

Or pregnant??

And any advice on it would be great too if she is pregnant. I am nervous that I catch her in time to give birth away from the community tank. EEK!

I just got a baby corn snake thats 8 or 9 inches about 2-3 weeks ago and he eats pinkys about 1 inch long,and I think he needs another pinky,and he shedded his skin once skin,so what should I do --- do you think he is old enough to have 2 pinkies at once???

He lives in a ten gallon tank with filtration and a heater, has other types of fish in the tank, no fungus, fin or eye problems, and I've had him about 8 months and he was fine up untill about two weeks ago. He just stays at the top of the tank in one corner and kind of floats there. Doesn't even react much if I tap the glass. Any ideas???
