My sister has pet parakeet, which is the most annoying thing in the world. It squeeks and squaks and screams and chirps all day starting from like 8am (it wakes me up) until it gets dark out. Is there any way to punish a bird to make it stop screaming at random times? It just does what it pleases whenever it pleases, there has to be another way?

I have female swordtail in 2.5 gallon tank. Im lookint to add about 3 or 4 neon tetras in the tank, will they show aggresion towards the swordtail?

I don't care if people say its too small to accomodate these fish. I have seen worse..

My all black male cat is roughly ten years old and in very good health. He is happy, social and bathes regularaly but not excessively and LOVES to be brushed and groomed, which I do regularly - he is very talkative and knows just how to ask!

While brushing him a few nights ago, I found what looks like a pimple on his back. However, this pimple is quite solid rather than being a small pocket of fluid as I remember mine used to be. There is no sign of inflammation around the spot and the pimple itself is just SLIGHTLY pinker than the rest of his skin; he does seem to have more dander than usual on his back. I have been keeping an eye on it and it does seem to be a little tender or sensitive - he usually LOVES a vigourous back scratch but doesn't like the spot being scratched

If anyone has any ideas of the problem - or needs any further information - then do not hesitate to contact me. I am on disability support and cannot afford vet bill's unless essential!

my dog is around 35 lbs.
at first he started vomiting a lot and peeing in the house..
then he started to go diarhia.. and didn't eat for 2 days
then he started to eat and didn't poop at all but he peed
now he eats and goes diarhia and it looks like there is blood in it..it's very liquidy too..

this has been happening for about a week, when it was the first 3 days he didn't move at all now he's back to his old self

he accidently ate a piece of raw chicken..but i don't know if that's whats causing this..

will this just blow over or will we have to take him in to the doctors?

On the side of the bag, it says for his age and weight (11 weeks and around 13 pounds) that you should feed 1 3/4 cups. However, I know you're supposed to feed him atleast three times a day. So, do you feed him that much every sitting, or is that all together?

It seems like it's not enough if it's all together in a day, but it seems too much for every sitting..Help?

I want to bleach the whisper 40 power filter housing (not the filters) I can put in a new filter. but i want to clean out the base and tubes and remove the algae and any bacteria.

I had a bacteria bloom and my 50 gallon aquarium crahsed on me :( I am having to start over.

The other cats run to her rescue. the kitten appears to be having fun. When they approach her she stops and gets spooked. She's a very playful cat and very frisky.

Our cat had 3 kittens 4 months ago. One recently left to go to his new home and the new owner informed us that he has hookworms. Should we treat mama cat and the other 2 kittens, assuming they have them too? They just came back from their spay/neuter/rabies/distemper appointments and the county shelter didn't say anything about the worms. What product can we use if we need to treat them? We'd like to avoid 3 high vet bills as they seem very healthy.

i had that tropical look in my aquarium but with all diffrent kinds of plants but they all turned yellow they became ugly so i threw them in the garbage so i had a fire mouth cichlid and before that i had scats they all had white dots on them they got sick and they died what did go wrong.

This tiny little bird literally knocked on my door this morning. It was really cold outside and the poor thing was freezing. I fed it bread, warm milk and now I put it in a birdcage. But, How can I know if it is a he or a she?
I used to have budgies and fed them canary grass. Do I give canary grass to the Canary too? Do they eat anything else?

My cats have a dedicated patch of earth in the garden that they use as a toilet. Its quite a large area and i dig the ground over every week however just recently its really started to smell. Is there anything i can put on the earth and mix in that will get rid or reduce the smell. Obviously its got to be environmentally friendly and cat friendly too.

My dog is deathly afraid of water -- thus, anytime we've tried to give him a bath, he runs scared. No amount of coaxing will help, and he's too big for us to pick up. He won't even get anywhere near a water source. Not even his water dish sometimes. It's gotten so bad, that I can't remember the last time we bathed him. It's unhealthy for him to stay so dirty, and I want to give him a bath. Please help!
