There's a number of things...if you're in the country, and have issues with warbles, watch it carefully ot make sure it doesn't change over the next few days (warbles are insects that live in the skin until they mature, and then break out).
Since he's older, he might just have a small cyst, which isn't uncommon, and as long as it doesn't discharge anything or cause him pain, should be fine.
If it begins to bleed, discharge, swell, or cause him pain, you should take him immediately to a vet. If its cancer or cancerous, the only way to tell is to take him to a vet.

If it's got a little dimple in the center it's a mast cell, and will stay around for a while then be absorbed again and vanish. One of my cats has these, they take about 6 months to go away. The vet said they were benign. The skin was the same color as the normal skin, and the circle was about 1/4" across or a little less, but all of them he had (about 4) had a small dimple down in the center of the raised circle.

It is always best to have any lump or bump on a cat checked out by a vet. The incidence of a growth on a cat being malignant is much higher than that of a dog, especially in an older animal. I'm not saying it is a cancer, but the sooner you have it checked out the better. It is not common for cats to get benign growths like dogs do.

My cats also have and have had that problem before except on their chins. We visited the vet and all it is is acne (pimples) it sounds as if this could be the same thing as my cats but you never know so i would reccomend either calling your vet or visiting them because you never know what it could be. It sounds as if your cat is very special and i wouldn't risk not paying any attention to it, so i would contact your vet and see what they have to say.
I wish you the best of luck!:)

Take the cat to the vet IMMEDIATELY. 99% of the time that they have some sort of cyst it is cancer (the 1% is called a fat-lump). You need to have your cat seen and have that removed immediately.
If you don't have a vet you should live and you live in a city then see if you can take it today to one of the 24 hour emergency vet clinics.

I am not a vet, however I work in a human ophthalmologist office. When we see patients with "white growth" on their eye, it can a 'pterygium" or a "pinquecula" or a calcium deposit. Be very concern , especially if it's gowing over the pupil, it may start to affect the vision. In those cases surgery will be needed. Good luck!

It can most-likely be of two things:
A cyst, a pocket of fluids which is okay to have, sometimes it goes away.
Or a tomer, a form of cancer.
Either way, have a vet check it out, especially if it grows, but have a vet look at it before it has time to grow.

It could be a lot of things, but most likely a follicular cyst, which is benign. However, I would take your cat to the vet, as there is always the chance of cancer.
