Spaying should help.

Also be aware that cats most often mimic humans behavior. So there may be someone or something in your household that is high energy and perhaps even irritating to her.

The only way to train animals to be more loving is accepting that they already are and just need the opportunity. Cats like stable environments, lots of quiet time, gentle treatment.

Yikes!!! "Keep her pregnant and producing all the time"??!!?! That's animal abuse, very cruel and physically abusive to any animal. Please spay that cat - she's beyond the age for it. She's like that because she wants to mate and spaying her will cure her of that urge. Plus, kittens are wild things in general and Siamese in particular are pretty wacky. I had 2 Siamese that spanned the first 30 years of my life, and they're great loving cats but they can get kind of wild, depending on the individual cat. They also don't respond well to a chaotic household, so if there's a lot of yelling, slamming doors and running around (general busy kid household) they're going to be unnerved and jumpy. My aunt had 9 Siamese, and they were all different, some sweet and placid, some nasty and aggressive. Good luck!

Some Siamese cats are like that, just mean all of the time and they never change. This trait goes with the breed. Try the Feloway products on her, catnip, etc. and try having her spayed. If you plan on breeding her then keep her pregnant and producing all of the time as this should help her mood swings. Otherwise spay her but sometimes this doens't even help the Mood of the Siamese cats.

It's because she just came out of heat that she's mean. If you don't plan on getting her spayed, then you will have to put up with the little bit of wildness that comes with being a female cat. She's got a reputation as an unfixed cat, and she thinks she's got to live by it. If she's spayed, I'm 99% certain you won't have that problem.

9 months is where they can still get sort of wild, this is their teenager phase. It usualy evens out around 11 or 12 months.

Don't grab or hold onto her, just pet her without picking her up. She's just pushing the limits and if you try punishment or holding her tight it'll backfire.

Patience, this phase passes. Get her spayed (they yowl like banshees when in heat, it'll break the eardrums!), and introduce some new play toys that you can spend some time interacting with her with. This keeps her from thinking of people's hands as 'toys' to be attacked.

Spay her, ASAP. It'll keep her from caterwauling more than a talkative Siamese should.

Try checking out a book on cats for training tips or if push comes to shove, see a trainer or behavioral animal therapist.

If you want to breed her, just do it. If you don't want to, then spay her. Once she is, those hormones won't be making her so grouchy! Give it a few weeks, and she'll be back to normal. Just remember-

-Don't yell at her, ever.
-Show her compassion and kindness, remember, you only reap what you sow, you only get what you give.
-If she does something bad, firmly say (not yelling) No. Bad [name of cat]. When she does something good, kindly say-Yes! Good [name of cat]! Pet her, or give her a treat.
-Play with her. Throw a toy or dangle some string. You can also try tying her favorite toy to a string! She'll love it!

Just do these and she'll be happy and a much kinder cat!

Have her spayed NOW---before she comes into heat again, which could be happening right away. This alone will calm her down considerably and give her a much nicer disposition.
